2. I want to call you but my phone isn’t working, so I’m writing to you.

（1）这里的 work 用来表示仪器、设备的“运行、工作”若是用于否定结构如 isn’t working，则表示某一件物品“不工作了”或“坏掉了”。如:

（2）write to 表示“写信给某人”。如：

这种的句子，在陈述句后面加一个简短的问句，用来对陈述部分内容进行确认，称为反意疑问句。

这一话题展开听、说、读、写等多种教学活动，本课时是SectionB的第二课时，着重于目标句型的阅读考察及目标句型的写作运用。从谈论 2a图片中的天气及活动引导到2b明信片的阅读， 将本单元的互致问候、谈论天气、询问正在进行的活动等单元重点功能结构以明信片的形式呈现，显得自然贴切，而具有实用性. 3a是一个填写明信片的控制性练习，将描述天气，与天气有关的服饰穿着及人们的活动以篇章的形式呈现，3b 以回答问题的形式介绍撰写明信片的要素， 为后面的3c的开放性写作做好铺垫。
