教材分析
一、教学内容:
本节课是新目标Go for it (八年级上 ) Unit 5的内容.主要围绕“影评”这一话题，训练孩子们用英语表达对事物的好恶。
本单元的重点是在升华谈论喜好这一日常交际话题的同时，学习常见的影视节目名称以及可以用以描述它们的形容词，并初步学习写影评。本节课是该单元的第3个课时，侧重于对学生语言能力的表达。
二、教材的地位和作用:
本单元所选择的的话题，贴近生活实际，应该能很好的激发学生学习英语的兴趣和积极性，突出学生主体，尊重个体差异；采用活动途径，倡导体验参与，即采用任务型的教学模式，让学生在老师的指导下通过感知、体验、实践、参与和合作等方式，实现任务的目标，感受成功；
注重过程评价，促进学生发展，建立能激励学生学习兴趣和自主学习能力发展的评价体系。

课后反思
本节课在上一节学生已经接触了各类电视节目的基础上，结合幻灯片、视频等激发了学生们的学习兴致，快乐进入主题。
这节课采用简短易学的图片进行热身活动，使陌生的教学对象能够很快积极地进入到英语学习的情境中。适时运用多媒体教学，直观形象。能通过学生已有的知识引入本课新授内容，使学生心中有明确的学习方向。
能根据实际情况大胆对教材进行整合，使教学内容更充实。如，删减了问卷调查，充实了写作的内容，进行了写作拓展延伸。并适时紧扣本课话题对学生进行了德育教育。
很有亲和力。对待学生的错误，能够耐心地通过教师引导或学生帮助等多种方式使学生理解自己的错误所在并进行改正，直至学生掌握，才进行下一个教学活动。
但是也存在一些不足之处：没有依据学生的回答去改变自己原有的设计，而是非得让学生按照自己的设计去走。有点呆板。
