一、教材的地位与作用：
Unit 4 What’s the best movie theater?是初中英语基本语法课中重要的学习，也是学期最重要的课之一，继巩固Unit3 I’m more outgoing than my sister. 比较级之后拓展比较对象。这单元是在uint3学习了形容词比较级的基础上进一步学习最高级。通过复习和学习一些名词和形容词，练习最高级,让学生在完成任务的过程中,运用所学知识进行英语交流,培养运用英语解决实际问题的能力.
二、教学目标：
（一）知识目标：
1、能够听、说、读、写重点单词词汇
形容词的比较级和最高级：good better best, bad worse worst, biggest, cheapest closest friendliest, most等
2、能听说认读句子。
It+ has/is +the (adj最高级)+… The(adj最高级)+…+is…并运用它询问描述个人爱好（程度）
（二）能力目标
1、能根据他人对话了解个人的爱憎。
2、会询问/谈论个人的爱憎。
3、能在听、读中辨别adj的比较级和最高级（的用法）。
4、会运用已掌握的词、短语、句型，用不同的方式表达同一意思；连表达中会变化句型（句子的形式）
（三）情感目标：
1、通过对事物的比较培养学生的辨别（重点）能力，引导学生关注人、事、物的优点长处；在做事前应有相应的准备。
2、通过欣赏中国的世界之最，引发学生为祖国而自豪的爱国情感,进而激发他们做最好的自己。
三、教学重难点：
（一）重点：
1. 形容词的比较等级在句中的运用。
2.学会比较事物的相同和不同之处。
3.能了解so far 的意义并能正确运用。
4.能根据调查，写出以“比较”为话题的调查报告。
（二）难点：
（1）掌握比较级和最高级的区分，会听说读写的adj最高级及实际中运用能力。
（2）不规划/多音节的读音和运用（前面加the/ my/one`s）adj的最高级的。
四、语法:形容词最高级及构成(规则和不规则good ,better ,best, bad , worse , worst)
五、过程与方法：
让学生在对比中运用比较级过度到最高级,培养学生学习英语的兴趣和应用英语实际交流的 能力，进而提高学生听、说、读、写等能力。

随着我校新课堂的改革，我也逐步熟悉了新的课堂流程，学生们的小组合作也取得了长足进展，这节课上下来，使我印象深刻，反思如下：
1、新课标要求课堂教学要培养学生的情感因素，着力培养学生的学习兴趣，激发学生的学习动机，培养他们热爱生活的品质。本节课我利用让学生欣赏中国的世界之最，从而引导学生感受祖国的美丽与伟大，进而学生为祖国而自豪的情愫油然而生，达到情感的升华。
2、在本节课中我适当把贴近学生生活的教学资源引入教学中，使学生更愿意学，让学生利用本节课学的最高级谈论小组之最，从而变无意注意为有意注意，使学生在活动之中实实在在地进行语言的运用和交流，避免了枯燥无味的死记硬背，这样的教学激发了学生的学习兴趣，使学生学习英语的信心和决心得到增强，同时学生学习英语心理素质在活动之中自然而然得到培养。
3、新课程标准要求我们广大教师必须加强学习，不断丰富我们的知识、提高我们诸方面的能力。因为只有教师的综合素质得到提高，我们才有能力教好我们的学生。作为一名英语老师，我努力转换自己的角色和观念，努力做一名出色的节目主持人，在本节课中我努力组织好每一项课堂活动，把表演的机会给学生，让学生成为真正的“主角”，让学生时刻处在体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的活动中，努力建立平等和睦的师生关系，让学生喜欢自己的英语课。
4、本节课提高了学生的学习能力，培养了学生的爱国情怀，丰富了学生的学习生活，使学生的文化意识、生活意识等素养都得到了提高。
今后的努力方向：
小组集体荣誉感的进一步提升。
学生点评时的站位以及语言的规范性仍需进一步加强。
教师应在课堂用语简洁明了方面进一步加以锤炼。
教师课堂活动设计在形式多样方面要多下功夫。
