Ⅰ.Lead-in.
Students describe their good habits of English study using frequency words.
(设计意图:像朋友一样常规问候拉近彼此距离,接下来是通过谈论学生的英语学习习惯,应用学生的旧知识,用简单的八个句子,把学生的注意力集中到“habits”上,同时达到既复习旧知识,又能很好地导入新课的目的。)
Ⅱ.Pre-writing.
1. Students talk about their living habits and find out the good ones and the bad ones.
2. Students read and spell the frequency words as fast as they can when the words flash on the screen;
Have a competition between two groups and talk about their habits using the frequency words.
(设计意图:通过回答所给的8个问题,来讨论个人的饮食起居等方面的习惯,并在小组之间进行看词造句比赛,此活动既调动了学生的积极性,又复习巩固了前几课时所学的单词、短语、句型,为完成下一个任务做了铺垫。)
3. Work on 3a.
1) Read and complete the report.
2) Ss read the passage then fill in the blanks with the words in the box.
3) Check the answers.
4. Observe the report, analyze the structure. Find out how to write a report.
(设计意图:通过完成3a任务,使学生进一步巩固频率副词的用法,并通过组内探究报告的书写技巧,培养学生的合作精神。)
II. While-writing.
1. Work on 3b, complete the chart with the students’ own information. Then in the last column, use expressions like always, every day, twice a week and never.
2. Work on 3c, write a report about the good and bad habits above.
3. Let some Ss show report to the class.
(设计意图:通过小组交流展示,使学生突破难点,进一步体验和运用语言结构,培养学生组织语言的能力。)
III. Post-writing.
1.Make a survey.
Do a survey about the students’ habits. Then fill in the chart and report the results of the survey.
2. Students show their results of the survey, the teacher and the other students give comments.
3. Work on self check. Fill in each blank with the correct word given.Change the form of the word if necessary.
(设计意图:该活动是上一环节的深化,通过完成组内调查报告,让学生在了解组内同学饮食起居行为习惯的同时,进一步掌握频度副词的用法,并亲身体验调查报告的写法。通过交流展示,使学生的语言技能得到进一步提高。)

第四课时 教学反思
在本次“一师一优课”“一课一名师”的赛课活动中。我执教的是人教新目标版八年级上Unit 2 How often do you exercise?第四课时。回顾我上课的过程,收获还是挺多的,自己各方面得到了提升。有成功之处可供人借鉴的,也有值得探讨尚需改进的地方。反思本课教学如下:
一 可取之处
1、充足的课前准备。从寒假学习期间接到关于深入开展“一师一优课”和“一课一名师”活动的通知起,我便着手认真学习文件,并写了详细的课堂笔记。在充分了解了文件精神后,我立即转入到教材钻研,并花一个多星期仔细研读文本,认真阅读《课标》,深入了解教材编排的特点、意图及文本折射出的深层次的内涵,大胆取舍与整合,本节课除了复习了频度副词“usually, hardly ever, always, sometimes, hardly ever, never once a week、twice a month、three times a year…”以及“How often do you …? ”句型的用法外,还引导学生讨论并掌握了写报告的方法技巧,充实了教学内容,收到了较好的效果。
2、充分的个人素质展示。本人上课情绪饱满,充满激情,常常与学生同欢笑,共忧愁。我上课时肢体语言充分,带领学生在视觉、听觉、肢体等全方位动起来,本堂课上我与学生一起列举好与坏的日常行为习惯,一起讨论报告的书写方法,学生在老师的情绪感染下快乐地学习英语。我还努力运用全英语的课堂教学用语组织教学,给学生创设一个听英语、说英语的环境。
3、多种形式的教学和操练。本课时我根据学生的年龄特点,充分利用多媒体课件并加上形象化的动作和语言,极大地调动了学生学习的积极性。我还采用了小组看词造句比赛,设计了Make a survey 部分,使得学生进行小组合作,对所学知识进行输出,大大提高了学生实际运用语言的能力。
二 不足之处
1. 开始部分有些紧张,利用lead-in部分不流畅。
2. 在Try your best部分如果把规定的频率副词去掉,效果应该会更好,学生就可以不受限制了,可以更充分更广泛地操练频度副词。
3. 在 Make a survey 部分,小组呈现的不够充分,应该再多展示几个组的结果。
4. 在指令方面有些地方不够简洁、清楚。口语还是暴露出一些弊端,语音语调的不纯正,发音的不规范等,这是我所要努力改正的地方,今后还要在口语方面多模仿、多听说,精益求精。
5. 小组座位没有安排好,坐得不整齐,没有按照预先设计坐好。
三、今后努力的方向
随着新课程改革的深入,新课程理念的不断加强,初中英语考试和考查的重点也在发生变化,已经由过去的“知识立意”向“能力立意”转变。今后应注重把握《英语课程标准》的要求,改变传统的教学模式,在不断学习、更新教学理念的基础上,由原来过分重视语法和词汇知识的传授与讲解,向重视学生阅读能力和语言运用能力转变。
总之,一节研讨课的开展留给执教者的不仅仅是上一堂课而已,留给我们的有很多很多。静下来反思我们的教学实际,我们扪心自问:每一堂课都是这样准备充分的吗?每一堂课师生都这样充满激情吗?每一堂课都开展形式多样、扎实有效的训练的吗?每一堂课都草草了事,学到哪里算哪里,留有“遗憾”的吗?让我们多一些准备与思考,多一些精彩与完美,少一些遗憾吧!

本堂课为本单元的第四课时,是一堂写作训练课,通过学习,学生除了能够进一步熟练地掌握频度副词“always, usually, often, sometimes, hardly ever, never, once a week、twice a month、three times a year…”以及句型“How often do you …? ”的用法外,还要掌握写报告的方法技巧,并通过各种操练,使学生对所学知识进行正确输出,从而提高学生实际运用语言的能力。
