教学目标:
1. 语言知识目标:
1) 能掌握以下单词: housework, hardly, ever, hardly ever, once, twice, Internet, program, full, swing, swing dance, maybe, least, at least
能掌握以下句型:
① —What does he do on weekends? —He usually watches TV.
② —How often do you watch TV? —I watch TV every day.
③ —Does he go shopping? —No, he never go shopping.
2) 能了解以下语法:
频度副词及一般现在时简单谈论周末活动情况。
2. 情感态度价值观目标:
通过本单元的学习,养成健康的饮食习惯,保证充足的睡眠时间,进行合理的运动锻炼,以保持健康的体魄。培养学生的逻辑表述能力,激发学生的积极思维,并使学生互相了解,增进友谊,加强人际交往,以形成良好的人际关系。
教学重点:
1) 对6个频度副词细微差异的理解及使用。
2) 弄清一般现在时在不同人称下动词形式及提问的变化。
教学难点:
1) 第三人称单数谓语动词在此核心句型中的运用。
2) 谈论课余时间的各项活动,以及初步认识和使用频率副词。

Free talk: Talk about weekend activities. 师生就周末活动进行对话交流。
Step3预习检测:展示ppt,要求学生说出词组,检查学生课前预习情况。学生抢答完成检测题。小组竞赛答对一题记一分

教材分析
一、教材分析
本单元的主要内容是表达“频率”。Section A通过“谈论做运动的频率”,通过听力、对话练习、小调查等方式帮助学生掌握如何询问及表达有关频率的内容(做运动的频率,日常活动的频率,学习的频率等);Section B通过讨论饮食及其它生活方式,通过听力、阅读、做调查等方式,帮助学生掌握如何用频度副词综合表达信息;Self Check部分通过填空帮助学生复习所学词汇,通过开放式的写作帮助学生巩固对频度副词的掌握。通过复习本单元学习过的动词短语,通过各种方式的口语交际活动、大量阅读和写作练习,使学生积极参与,从而培养学生的综合语言运用能力。从而进一步为巩固和使用频率副词及重点句型做语言知识上的准备。通过复习已学习过的动词及短语 (shop, exercise, read, go to the movies, watch TV, ,eat vegetables/fruit/junk food, ect),使学生积极参与,主动合作,让学生在完成任务的过程中,使用英语获取信息,用英语进行交流,从而培养学生运用英语的能力。本单元的Section A部分,已初步认识和使用了频率副词,为进一步使用频率副词及动词短语做语言知识上的准备。本课时主要在此基础上培养学生对语言知识点的综合运用能力,让学生学会阅读、学会写作,学会调查,让学生在体验中内化语言知识,从而培养学生对频率副词以及how often句型的使用能力。这一单元的重点在于“表达频率”,以及健康良好生活习惯的培养。

二、教学建议
结合学生生活设计活动,例如调查学生日常活动的频率,如运动、吃蔬菜、看电视、看电影、听歌、读小说、上网等的频率,与学生探讨做某件事情什么样的频率最合适等;设计日常活动的阅读短文以及写作,让学生通过大量的听说读写来训练做活动的频率。
在教学中可以结合图片等方式开拓学生思路,帮助学生记忆。如vegetables
三、教学方法和学习策
1、教法
(1)本单元话题源自生活,立足这一点,充分利用学生已有的知识和经验,创设生活化的真实(或半真实情景)引导学生在运用语言中复习所学语言知识,然后再让学生把所学语言知识进行创造性地运用语言(为用而学,在用中学,学了用)。
(2)开展多种类型任务活动,提供给学生合作交流的空间和时间,促使学生为完成任务和同学进行合作,为完成任务进行探究学习。
2、学习策略:
(1)通过Disscussing, Classifying and Guessing等形式多样的活动,促使学生运用认知策略进行有效地学习。
(2)在与同学合作完成任务的活动中主动探究和学习语言;并运用知识内在规律帮助记忆、巩固知识。
四、教学设计思路
结合学生生活设计活动,使学生在谈论自己生活的过程中掌握频度副词的用法及其它知识。
四、教学目标

描述时间频度的词汇及开展周末活动的调查
(二)、能力目标
听:能听懂谈论生活习惯、学习习惯和饮食习惯的对话材料。
说:能谈论生活习惯、学习习惯和饮食习惯。
读:能读懂介绍个人生活习惯的文章。
写:能写出Section A和Section B中的重点单词和重点句型,并能够描述自己的生活习惯
(三)、情感目标
通过开展周末活动调查问卷,引导学生正确处理好学习和娱乐之间的关系。 通过谈论谁的饮食习惯更健康,引导学生了解什么样的饮食习惯,才能保持健康的体质。
语言结构

课后反思
Unit 2 How often do you exercise ?是新目标英语八年级上册的第二单元,我为这节课作了大量的准备。
本节课我是通过师生对话自然导入,就周末日常活动和生活习惯展开对话,学生自然的联想起相关的短语,学习的兴趣和积极性不知不觉的被调动起来。接下来,我利用幻灯片的方式来展示了本节课要训练的内容,引起学生的兴趣,导入了本单元的两个话题:“What do you do on weekends”“How often do you exercise?”并让学生进行快速的对话练习,哪个组最快完成,最先展示的机会就属于哪个小组。这样,学生们在这种紧张的学习氛围中即学到了知识,又锻炼了自己的口语表达能力。我给学生更宽泛的选择,结合学过的知识来说出和归纳出本单元的重点单词和短语等,这样的学习内容,更让学生在爱学,乐学的氛围中得到了知识的巩固。
为了让学生更好的运用学过的频率副词及相关语言知识点,在课前预习中要求学生探究总结,在课上让学生主持课堂进行频率副词的学习,极大的调动了学生的学习热情。
现在回顾本课教学,我从中发现了自己在创设情境,培养口语交际能力时,限制了学生的思维只是用固定的对话让学生练习,可以让学生根据我所展示的图片,进行对话练习。这样学生的积极性和兴趣都会显著提高。所以在今后的教学中,我会把口语交际与创新教育结合到一起,不仅要让学生运用句型会说,敢说,更要让学生联系实际说,有自己的创新,有自己的发挥,更有自己的独特的表达方法
在今后的英语教学中,我会本着“以学为主,当堂达标”的课改理念,“不断地完善、不断地探索、不断地创新”,将英语新课改与英语教学更有效地结合起来,旨在做到“让学生动起来,让课堂活起来,让效果好起来”。
