本单元是Go for it ( 下 ) 五四制Unit 8。主要围绕“What are you doing?”这一主题展开各种教学活动,并以这一主题引出现在进行时的一般疑问句,否定句以及特殊疑问句等语言功能。本单元旨在创造一个轻松、愉快的学习、交流环境,通过听、说、读、写来培养学生综合运用这些知识的能力。并让学生能在“做中学”(learning by doing),通过有限的课堂实践活动,注意观察别人的行动,能准确地用英语来表达。
二、教材的地位和作用:
“Go for it”教材有一个比较明显的编排特点,那就是每单元由Section A , Section B 和 Self Check 三大版快组成,同时每个版快又由a, b , c 三小部分构成,内容循序渐进,符合学生的认知规律,教材又图文并茂,既能吸引学生的注意力,又能激发学生的学习兴趣,每一小部分中的C部分又是pairwork,培养了学生的合作意识,每一小部分又有听力训练,培养了学生的听说能力。Section B 中的3a, 3b 又能培养学生的读写能力,本单元的综合语言知识能力的运用,又能在此体现出来Section B中的3c是任务性教学,体现了语言的交际性和实用性
教学反思
学生在本节课中的表现总体不错,教学计划进行的比较顺利,但也存在一些小的瑕疵。简单有以下几点
我在课堂上习惯一句话或一个知识点多次重复,有无意的也有特意的,本想通过重复来强化学生的记忆,可事实上,会让学生感到枯燥无味,所以这一点,在以后的教学过程中应该注意。
课堂上学生名字有时点中文名有时英文名,如果能全部用上英文名,英语情景的气氛更浓一些。所以要尽快记住学生的英文名,在英语课堂上尽量提问学生的英文名字。
在学生表演-猜动作的环节中,学生有的使用的汉语,如果课堂上教师点拨一下,告诉他如何用英语表达,这样更好些。
当然还有很多不足之处,我会在今后的教学过程中,慢慢摸索,弥补不足,更好的提高英语课堂的效率,提高自己的英语教学水平。

一 .教学目标
1知识目标
(1)学习短语和单词 doing homework, watching TV, cleaning, eating dinner, reading a book, talking on the phone, newspaper,use, soup , wash ,exercise ?
(2)学习句型结构 ---What are you doing? ---I'm watching TV. ---What's he/she doing? ---He/She's reading. ---What are they doing ? ---They're watching TV. ---Is he reading? ---Yes, he is./ No, he isn’t.
(3)语法 了解现在进行时的结构: 主语+be(am/is/are)+动词-ing形式
2.能力目标
(1)能用现在进行时进行准确的描述和表达正在发生的动作。
(2)能掌握现在进行时态及一些表示具体动作的词组搭配,如:doing homework, watching TV, eating dinner? 等。
3、情感目标 通过对本节内容的任务性活动,能培养学生学习英语的强烈兴趣,乐于参加各种活动的积极情感,培养学生团结合作的精神。
(二).教学重点、难点
教学重点:What are you doing? I’m doing sth.. What is he/she doing? He/she is doing sth.. Is he/she doing sth.? Yes,he/she is.或No,he/she isn’t.
教学难点:用be doing来表示说话的瞬间正在做某事。 采用让学生动手操作、合作探究、媒体演示的教学方法来突出重点、突破难点。 (三).教具、学具准备(准备好以下相关的教具、学具)

(三)教学过程
Step1. Warming – up
Play an English song: Happy New Year (设计意图:调节气氛,让课堂氛围更和谐)
Greeting and Lead-in.

1、出示目标,明白方向
2、预习自测。
3、完成课本Page 31的1a。(Match the words and the activities.)
4、利用多媒体课件的图片,让学生做对话练习。 Practice: T: What is he/she doing? Ss: He/she is playing basketball. (他或她正在打篮球) Teach: washing the dishes, using the computer, talking on the phone, doing homework, watching TV, reading, cleaning? (设计意图:此环节重在培养学生的观察能力和口语交际能力,让学生对现在进行时有一个初步的理解,为下一环节做好准备)
Step 3 Listening (Activity 1b) 接下来的任务型听力要求学生对动作作出反应,教师可承接刚开始的话题,引导学生根据所学语言完成课本的1b。 (设计意图:纯正的发音更有效的激发起学生的学习兴趣,同时这样的任务型学习能有效的培养学生良好的品质,养成良好的倾听习惯。)
