九年级英语教材分析
目前九年级使用的英语教材,是人民教育出版社的《义务教育课程标准实验教科书英语(新目标)系列教材之一。它采用任务型语言教学模式,融会了话题、交际功能和语言结构形成了一套循序渐进地深化的学习程序。本书共有15个单元和3个复习单元。供九年级全年使用,其中每个单元都列出明确的语言目标、主要的功能与语言结构以及需要掌握的基本词汇,并分为A和B两部分。A部分是基本的语言内容,展开目标句型,提供部分示例和指导性练习;B部分是知识的扩展和语言的综合运用;每个单元还附有SELF CHECK部分,供学生用来自我检测本单元所学的语言知识,使学生对学过的目标句型运用自如。该教材摒弃了统治我国外国语教学领域多年的灌输式和机械的语法翻译教学方法,把直接法,听说法等教学方法有机地柔和在一起,充分考虑了12-15岁年龄段学生的心理和生理特点,照顾到了知识性,趣味性和运用性诸方面。突出了学生主体性,兼顾了个别差异,发展了学习策略。本册教材要求学习和掌握的语法知识有:情态动词(must, might, could, can, should,etc.);情态动词的被动语态(should be allowed to);被动语态(questions andstatements);现在完成时态(with already and yet);宾语从句(Indirect questions);定语从句(Relative clauses with that and who)等。要求学习和掌握的常用的表达结构有:by doing something; used to do something;I would ..., if I ...;hope to ...;I'd like/ love to ...;prefer ...;I'd rather do ...;I wish ...;I feel/ think/ believe/ agree that ...;be supposed to ...等。要求学习和掌握一些常用的短语动词:put up, put off, call up, run out of, think up, set up, give out等等。
新教材加大了语言训练密度,语言材料特别丰富,促进了学生英语语音素质和语言运用能力及其表达能力的提高,充分调动了学生课堂活动的积极性,九年级(即初三年级)已经处于初、高中衔接的重要转折时期。为了给学生奠定今后高中或今后继续学习英语的基础,教材在1—4;6—9;11—14单元均增加了语篇阅读(Reading)并配有相关的练习。语篇内容均能激发学生阅读的欲望和兴趣。引导学生在轻松愉快的语言环境中运用学过的知识表达自己的思想。
新教材的内容充分体现了时代性和趣味性。从“职业爱好”(PEOPLE AND JOBS),“健康教育”(HEALTH AND DIET),“娱乐活动”(ENTERTAINMENT AND SPORTS),“现代教育技术”(MODERN TECHNOLOGY)到“旅游文化”(GOING ON HOLIDAY)。这些教学板块都极富鲜明的时代特征,大大地激发和培养了学生的学习兴趣,但教材的词汇量极大,学生在掌握词汇方面有困难。针对这一点,我认为教师应该教会学生学习方法。俗话说:“授之于鱼不如授之于渔”。与其让学生被动地接受,不如教会他们怎样去学习,我们要帮助他们提高记忆单词的效率:如运用形象记忆法记单词,根据构词法科学记忆单词,根据拼读规则记忆单词。同时加强口语联系,创设良好的语言学习情景。?? 总之,新教材给我们提出了新的要求,我们必须不断地更新教学理念,改进教学方法,才能探索出最新的、最优化的教学模式。教师们一定要注意,在本教材的教学中,一定要始终坚持课程改革的理念,一定要以激励人、培养人为旨。不能够因为要准备毕业和升学考试,而放弃了许多教学中必须坚持的活动或实践形式。要牢记:
“义务教育阶段英语课程的任务是:激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生树立自信心,养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略,发展自主学习的能力和合作精神;使学生掌握一定的英语基础知识和听、说、读、写技能,形成一定的综合语言运用能力;培养学生的观察、记忆、思维、想像能力和创新精神;帮助学生了解世界以及中外文化的差异,拓展视野,培养爱国主义精神,形成健康的人生观,为他们的终身学习和发展打下良好的基础。”

上完这堂课后,我进行了认真反思与总结,感觉自己身上还有很多值得改进和提高的地方。作为一名新老师,我也有很多值得让老教师学习的地方,也希望能得到各位教育专家的指导。
不足:
对学生的学情了解研究不够,有的学生基础较差,没有充分考虑到学生的学情。
教师讲的多,学生练得少。
没有落实到学生的写上。
改进:
1、充分了解学生的掌握情况,尽量照顾到大多数的学生。
2、以学生为主体,让学生充分的练和读。
3、注重听、说、读、写全面发展。
作为一名新老师,我还有很多地方需要改进和提高,在以后的工作当中,一定要多向老教师学习,不断充实自己。
