教材分析 This class mainly talks about the past inventions using the past actions and its negative sentences.
教学对象分析 The students have learnt the past actions such as “was, were”. We’ll learn the past actions.
教学目标 1. Be able to listen, speak, read and write the new words such as : “invent/invented, print/printed, (printing), paper people bicycle newspaper.”2. Be able to listen and repeat the dialog and understand the meaning.3. Be able to use the past tense correctly.

Paper is one of the most important invention of ancient China. Explain: important 重要的 invention 发明T: So today we’ll learn something about the invention of ancient China. Watch TV, answer:T: You know paper and printing are inventions. So, who invented paper and printing Learn and clear the meaning of : invent 发明(动词)Answer: S: Chinese people.T: Good. What does it say in the text S1: Chinese people invented paper.S2: Chinese people invented printing.Design the sentence on the board and practice them:T: Do you know something about the ancient invention of China Ss: 火药和指南针T: Yes, Chinese people invented gunpowder and compass.3.PracticeT: Now open your books, listen to the tape point and find “invented” This time listen and repeat the sentences one by one. Pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation. Listen and say the main structures on page 15.四 ConsolidationListen and repeat the text then look at the pictures and say sentences use their own words on page15. Chinese people invented… Chinese people didn’t invent…五、Sum-upMake the students to sum up the main part of this class. Let the students get ready for the class.Aims to review the sentences.
