一、 Warm up1. Practice the drills learnt in the last class 2. Check up the letters wrote in last class Read the letters3. Make some sentences with “was, were.” 二、 Presentation1. This activity practices the sentences. Play the cassette. And repeatThe children point to the corresponding picture. The class repeats. Where does she live She lives in LondonThese are the base sentences. Pay attention!2. Read the other two sentences (listen say read). Correct any pronunciation mistakes. Lead the children review the words was were Read the two sentences: It was my birthday on Saturday.We were at Buckingham Palace. 三、 Practice1. Put the pictures or the photos on the board. Lead the students to describe them for several times. For example: This is Xiaofang. She’s my new friend.She’s very nice.
