Warming Up(The teacher stands at the door and greets the students as they come in the door.)T: Hello. Hi! Hello. Hi!(The teacher stands in front of the class and greets all the students again and prompts them to answer.)T: Hello.Ss: Hello. Presentation and drills(The teacher looks at individual students, greets them and prompts them to respond.)T: Hello.S1: Hello.T:Hi!S1:Hi! (The teacher gets three or four students to come to the front of the classroom.)T: Hi!S1: Hi!T: Hello.S2: Hello.T: Hello.S3: Hello. (The teacher explains to the students that they should greet classmates who are sitting nearby. They can greet the person to their let, to their right, behind them and in front of them.)T: Hello.(I points to myself.)T: I'm Sally.(The teacher looks at individual students and prompts them to answer.)T: Hello.S1: Hello.T: I'm ……S2: I'm ……T: Goodbye.Ss: Goodbye.(The teacher gets three or four competent students to come to the front of the class.) T: Hi! I'm ……S1: Hi! I'm ……T:Hello. I'm ……S2: Hello. I'm …… (The teacher now explains that the students have to greet classmates sitting nearby. They should also introduce themselves.) (The teacher should explains that either ‘Hi’ or ‘Hello’’ is an acceptable greeting.) Practice1.Game(The teacher explains that they have to greet their classmates once again. If the first students says ‘Hi’, the other student has to say ‘Hello’. I'll do an example. )T: Hi!Ss: Hello.T: Hello.Ss: Hi!(The students greet their classmate.) 2. Listen and find out.T: Who are our friends Answer: Sam, Daming, Amy, Lingling.Consolidation and extension3. Practice and perform it4. Finish the activity book. T encourages students to greet back with eye contact and gestures. After their greetings, give them proper compliment. We should play the courseware to students.Try to encourage them to imitate the pronunciation.After several group of practice, they can greet and say farewell fluently and properly.
作 业设 计 1. When you leave school you should say Goodbye or bye to your classmates.2. When you reach home you should say Hello or Hi to your parents.3. Listen to the tape and repeat.
教 学反 思 学生有些羞怯,但有少部分学生积极踊跃,通过积极分子的带动,创造课堂英语氛围。有一些学生上课坐不住,还没有养成课堂常规,需要有趣的小游戏来激发学生学习的兴趣。
