T opens a book and says “Open the book.” And Ss imitate T to do and say it.2. T closes the book and says “ Close the book.”To show the class the meaning of “close”. Lead the class to say it and do the action.3. T closes the door and says in silence. To make Ss say it according to the T's mouth shape. And use the same way to teach “Close the window.” 4. Give instructions and do it.5. Chant (with gestures)Up, up, stand up! Down, down, sit down! Open, open, open the window. Close, close, close the door. Prompt students to respond and encourage them to show themselves. Learning “Close” is to extend the scale of vocabulary . Making up the chant is easy to remember the sentences .And makes Ss to have a deep impression to learn it.
