Perform the dialogue together.3. Check the dialogue by individuals.Presentation and drills1. Shake hands with students and say “Pleased to meet you.” Prompt students to say it back to you. And encourage them to say it to each other politely. 2. Show the word cards to the class. (Read it as fast as possible.)3. Read the word louder When I put it higher, otherwise, read it lower.4. Game:Which one is missing 5. Point at my desk and say “This is my desk.”(And write it on the blackboard.)Lead students to read it after me. Point at my seat and say “This is my seat.”And do some gestures about it.6. Invite students to perform it in front of the classroom.7. Listen to the tape and repeat it.When it plays “This is our classroom.” Invite an individual to repeat it louder and louder. And do the gesture of “our” to show the class.Practice1. Making up a chant is helpful for students to memory the sentences we learnt last class. And they are fond of this kind of learning style. To help students to remember the words by this kind of games. And show them the pronunciation of some letters. E.g. D—“d”, S—“s”, T—“t”… To focus on the difference between “my” and “our”. And let students use it correctly. To help them use the sentence wider and be able to use it with life naturally.
