一、Warm up1. Repeat the Alphabet Song.2. Using a clock and ask the class What’s the time Elicit the time and write the sentence on the board. 二、Presentation and drills Activity 1.Listen and repeat. 1. Ask the children to look at the page. Elicit as much information about the story as you can in Chinese by asking questions .The teacher can also point to the each clock and elicit the times in Chinese.2. Play the cassette or read the dialogue. The children listen and follow in their books. 3. Play the cassette again, pause after each utterance for the children to point at the corresponding picture.4. Play the cassette again. Encourage the class to point to each clock as they repeat.5. Repeat this activity, asking individual Ss to repeat the utterances, divide the class into groups. Activity 2.Look and say.1. In pairs, the children take turns to act out the pictures. Encourage them to perform appropriate actions.2. Praise the Ss.Look at the clocks and say the time.Ask the children to look at each clock and say the time.Then ask them to complete the sentences.3. Now point and say. In pairs, the children take turns to point the clock and ask and answer about the time on each.4. Listen and point the pictures.The teacher says the sentences about the pictures and the children listen. Then ask them to repeat the sentences. At last ask them to point the pictures they hear. 三、Practice1. Listen and point the chant.J is for jug.K is for kite.L is for lion.Run, it can bite.2. Listen and repeat. 四、ConsolidationFinish the exercise book of this part. Review the knowledge the Ss have learnt before. Let the Ss learn and understand the passage well. Let the Ss can help each other in working. Improve the Ss listening ability. Consolidate the knowledge they have learnt today.
