教材分析 There are two activities here. One is listen and say then chant. The other one is listen repeat and trace the letters.重难点：1.学习韵句。2. 掌握字母Jj, Kk, Ll的读音及写法。
教学目标 1. Be able to understand and say the chant.2. Be able to write the letters from Jj to Ll.3 Use English to express time

一、Warm upPractice the alphabet around the class. Point to one child .He \she says the first letter. Then ask another child to say the next letter .As the children become more competent at this activity we can increase the speed. 二、Presentation and drillsActivity 1. Listen, repeat and trace the letters.1. Point to each letter in turn. Remind the class that each letter has both a big and small form.2. Draw the first letter on the board. Draw attention to the order of strokes.3. Ask the class to draw the letter in the air.4. Call children to the front of the class to trace over the letters with their fingers. Encourage them to pronounce the letter. 5. Now ask them to trace the letters in their SB with their fingers. Encourage them to make the appropriate sound as they trace.6. Repeat this procedure with the remaining letters in this activity. Move around the class as they work to check that they are using the correct sequence of strikes. 三、PracticeActivity 2 Chant.1. Draw the children’s attention to the pictures in their PB. Point to each picture and elicit or teach the word .Ask the class to call out the word clearly.2. Ask about the beginning sound in each word. Ask What sound does “jug, begin with Repeat with the other pictures.3. Say the chant or play the cassette. Emphasize the rhythm as you do so.4. Teach the children the chant line by line.5. Repeat the chant 2 or 3 times. Encourage them to draw letters in the air, as each letter in the chant is mentioned. 四、Sum upSum up the key points and the key structures they have learnt today. Prepare for today’s knowledge. Let the Ss can write the letters correctly and beautiful. Do more exercise aims to let the Ss write the letters well.
