教学目标：1.学习Uncle Booky’s Story time
2.培养学生读英语小故事的兴趣，同时领会阅读方法，培养英语阅读能力。
教学重点： 学生能够有阅读的兴趣并能够明白故事大意。
教学难点： 对学生阅读能力的培养。
教具准备： 图片、录音机。
教学过程：

一、Review二、Pre-reading.三、Explain the difficulty words.四、Read in pairs.五、Complete the exercises below. 1. Ask some questions using the past tense.1. T gives Ss enough time to read the story by themselves. 2. Let some of Ss say sth about the story.Let them read again and draw a line under the words that they don’t understand.This time, I ask them read the story in pairs.Let them do the exercises.T gives the correct answers. 1. Ss answer the questions together.1. All the students read the story by themselves.2. Some Ss try to say sth what they understand about the story.Read and draw out the words.Read in pairs.First do the excises by themselves. Then discuss the answers in pairs.At last say the answers 通过回答老师的问题进一步练习过去时的用法并达到锻炼口语的目的。先让学生自己读故事，然后说一说自己领会的故事大意，让学生养成先整体阅读的习惯。解决文章中的生单词，帮助学生理解。两个人一起读，有助于更好地理解文章。真正理解文章后，完成后面的练习题，先自己做，然后讨论答案，最后老师说出正确的答案，这样给学生充分的时间修正自己的答案，让他们有做对后的满足感，增加他们的阅读兴趣。

2.学习一首英文歌曲 “ run, run, run your race.”
3.学生自己进行自我评价。
教学重点： 学生可以顺利地完成本课的练习题。
教学难点： 能够熟练地、优美地唱出歌曲
教具准备： 图片、录音机。
