Materials：Recorder and tape.
Teaching process:
Step 1 ：Worming up
1. Bring in stuffed animals of a dog and a cat to class. Begin singing the song and throwing the stuffed animals around while singing. Both stuffed animals must be thrown or passed around simultaneously. When the song is over, two Ss will have stuffed animals in their hands. These Ss are required to make the sound of that animal.
2. Make a new verse with Cheep! (bird) and Moo! (cow)
Step 2： Listen, read and circle.
1. Write words from each box on the board.
2. Get two Ss come to front. One calls the words, the other touches the corresponding words.
3. Play the tape.
4. Ss listen to the tape. They circle the words on the tape.
Step 3： Read and circle
Ss get into pairs and play Slap.
T: Let’s play Slap. I say the word. You touch the picture.
Call out one word at a time. Partners touch the word with their finger quickly. The first who touches touch the correct word gets a point. The one gets most points at the end is the winner.
Ss find and circle words in the word search.
T: Find the words and circle them.
Step4：Do exercises

____ is this It’s ____eraser.
Can you sing Yes, ____ _____.
____ you fly No, ____ _____.
Who ____ she _____ my mother.
Who’s____ He’s _____ friend.
What’s _____name His name’s Ben.

Step5：Finish the workbook.
Step 6：Set homework: Copy the words.
