Teaching steps:
1. Warmer:
T: Class begins, good morning, class
S: Good morning, Miss Ruan.
T: Do you like your school What is your school like
S: (come to the front. Describe their school and school life.)
T: Ok, class, what do you know about the schools in England What are the differences between their school and our school
S: In England, their schools are very big and beautiful.
T: Yesterday, lingling went to Amy’s school. She took some photos and what was the school like Let’s have a look with Lingling.
2. Presentation:
T: Please look at the picture on the blackboard and listen to their dialogue, and then think what their school is like
S: Listen carefully and think.

课后反思:
在学习新标准英语第9册 They sit around tables一课中,我设计了两种课堂的情景,学生在多媒体课件的引导下,一边欣赏美丽的异国校园风景,一边亲身体验相关的语言知识:They sit around tables and we sit in lines.这种身临其境般的体验加快了学生习得语言的速度,也加深了学生对语言知识的理解,接着,随着课文学习的深入和学生对语言知识掌握程度的加深,他们在情景中运用并扩展了语言,创造性地说出:We can study very well, but we can’t have a lot of break time这样的教学活动充分发挥了语言学习的交际功能,达到了较好的教学效果。
