【教学目标】
1．语言技能：
（1）能够听懂、会说、认读单词：duck；frog；pond；worm；butterfly。
（2）能够完成听力任务，准确认识四种动物。
（3）继续练习和运用句型“Who live in…?/…live in …/…is home to /Who eat../Let’s take care of … ”进行动物家的信息的交流。
2．语言知识：
学会有关描述动物特征的句子, 能在现实生活中运用。
3．情感态度、学习策略与文化意识：
（1）敢于开口，表达中不怕出错误。
（2）能对新学内容进行归纳与总结。
（3）能够在语境中理解中西语言表达方式上的不同之处。

1．教师准备与本课时相关的图片、课件、录音机与录音带。
【教学过程】
Step 1:Warm-up
1．Greeting.师生用英语互相问候。
2．Work in groups. 教师引导学生完成Work in groups部分的对话。
这部分有两幅图片，老师先引导学生看图片，熟悉图片上的内容。
Step 2: Presentation
1．Lead-in
（1）Get some information of the text.（获取文章内容的部分信息）
教师引导学生了解池塘中生活的动物，他们有什么特点，他们之间的关系怎么样。
（2）Ask and answer.（让同学们之间相互提问和回答）
2．Talk about the text.（师生就有关课文内容进行交流与问答）
（1）Who live in the pond? (ducks and frogs live in the grassland.)
（2）If there are other animals in the pond? Who is it? (Yes. It is ducks and frogs)21cnjy.com
4．Read the text again.（再次朗读课文，教师可以通过这一个环节了解学生哪些句型还不够熟练，然后加以训练。）
Step 3: Practice
1．Read and act.（学生看着课件上提供的信息，相互提问和回答。）
S1：Who live in the pond?
S2: ducks/frogs live in the pond.
2．Finish the sentences.（学生按照实际情况完成句子）

4．Make a summary.
T: What did we learn this class?
教师和学生一起总结本课时的教学重点，先由学生谈谈自己学了什么，教师再进行总结。
Step 4: Homework
1．听录音，熟读课本 P8 Work in groups的内容。
2．向同学们提问，除了图片上的动物还有谁的家在池塘里。
Pond
3．Review the words.
图片熟悉上节课学过的单词
4．Talk about the text learned last period.
复习上一节课学过的课文，复习有关词汇。
Step 5: look and say
看图片上描述的，老师领读该部分的内容，然后让同学们回答
