Ⅲ.阅读理解
A
(2016·沈阳二中高二月考)For
some
people,
music
is
no
fun
at
all.About
four
percent
of
the
population
is
what
scientists
call
“amusic”.People
who
are
amusic
are
born
without
the
ability
to
recognize
or
reproduce
musical
notes
(音调).Amusic
people
often
cannot
tell
the
difference
between
two
songs.Amusics
can
only
hear
the
difference
between
two
notes
if
they
are
very
far
apart
on
the
musical
scale.
As
a
result,
songs
sound
like
noise
to
an
amusic.Many
amusics
compare
the
sound
of
music
to
pieces
of
metal
hitting
each
other.Life
can
be
hard
for
amusics.Their
inability
to
enjoy
music
set
them
apart
from
others.It
can
be
difficult
for
other
people
to
identify
with
their
condition.In
fact,
most
people
cannot
begin
to
grasp
what
it
feels
like
to
be
amusic.Just
going
to
a
restaurant
or
a
shopping
mall
can
be
uncomfortable
or
even
painful.That
is
why
many
amusics
intentionally
stay
away
from
places
where
there
is
music.However,
this
can
result
in
withdrawal
and
social
isolation.“I
used
to
hate
parties,”says
Margaret,
a
seventy year old
woman
who
only
recently
discovered
that
she
was
amusic.By
studying
people
like
Margaret,
scientists
are
finally
learning
how
to
identify
this
unusual
condition.
Scientists
say
that
the
brains
of
amusics
are
different
from
the
brains
of
people
who
can
appreciate
music.The
difference
is
complex,
and
it
doesn't
involve
defective
hearing.Amusics
can
understand
other
non musical
sounds
well.They
also
have
no
problems
understanding
ordinary
speech.Scientists
compare
amusics
to
people
who
just
can't
see
certain
colors.
Many
amusics
are
happy
when
their
condition
is
finally
diagnosed
(诊断).For
years,
Margaret
felt
embarrassed
about
her
problem
with
music.Now
she
knows
that
she
is
not
alone.There
is
a
name
for
her
condition.That
makes
it
easier
for
her
to
explain.“When
people
invite
me
to
a
concert,
I
just
say,‘No
thanks,
I'm
amusic,’”says
Margaret.“I
just
wish
I
had
learned
to
say
that
when
I
was
seventeen
and
not
seventy.”
【语篇解篇】 文章讲述的是世界上有一群天生不喜欢听音乐的人,被称之为amusic,这些人听力上没有任何问题,只是不喜欢听音乐,也无法欣赏音乐。很多人在之前都因此而苦恼,现在有了科学的解释,他们可以摆脱那种尴尬、不自在的处境了。
1.Which
of
the
following
is
TRUE
of
amusics
A.Listening
to
music
is
far
from
enjoyable
for
them.
B.They
love
places
where
they
are
likely
to
hear
music.
C.They
can
easily
tell
two
different
songs
apart.
D.Their
situation
is
well
understood
by
musicians.
【解析】 细节理解题。根据第一段“For
some
people,music
is
no
fun
at
all.”可知,A项正确,意为“对于某些人来说,听音乐并不是开心的事情”和A项的听音乐对他们来说远非是愉快的相同。因此,B项也是错误的,根据第一段的“People
who
are
amusic
are
born
without
the
ability
to
recognize
or
reproduce
musical
notes
(音调).Amusic
people
often
cannot
tell
the
difference
between
two
songs.”可知,C、D两项错误。
【答案】 A
2.According
to
Paragraph
3,
a
person
with
“defective
hearing”
is
probably
one
who________.
A.dislikes
listening
to
speeches
B.can
hear
anything
non musical
C.has
a
hearing
problem
D.lacks
a
complex
hearing
system
【解析】 推理判断题。该段前两句讲的是不爱听音乐的人和喜欢听音乐的人是不同的,他们之间的区别很复杂,但是“They
also
have
no
problems
understanding
ordinary
speech.”又讲到了这些不爱听音乐的人在理解其他非音乐的声音或者演讲的时候是没有问题的,目的是为了强调他们是正常的,没有什么缺陷的,因此defective
hearing指的是C项的a
hearing
problem,即听觉有问题。句意“他们之间的区别是很复杂的,但并不包括听觉有问题这种情况”。
【答案】 C
3.In
the
last
paragraph,Margaret
expressed
her
wish
that
________.
A.her
problem
with
music
had
been
diagnosed
earlier
B.she
were
seventeen
years
old
rather
than
seventy
C.her
problem
could
be
easily
explained
D.she
were
able
to
meet
other
amusics
【解析】 细节理解题。“I
just
wish
I
had
learned
to
say
that
when
I
was
seventeen
and
not
seventy.”意为,我希望我在十七岁的时候就学会了这样说(指的是No
thanks,I'm
amusic这句,意为,谢谢你,我是一个不喜欢听音乐的人),而不是到了七十岁才学会。从最后一段我们知道,their
condition
is
finally
diagnosed(诊断)他们的这种状况终于最后确诊了,他们都属于amusic,但是这来的太迟了,对于Margaret来说,因为之前她总是感到很尴尬,因此她希望她年轻的时候,就可以有现在这样的诊断。
【答案】 A
4.What
is
the
passage
mainly
concerned
with
A.Amusics'
strange
behaviours.
B.Some
people's
inability
to
enjoy
music.
C.Musical
talent
and
brain
structure.
D.Identification
and
treatment
of
amusics.
【解析】 主旨大意题。全文主要讲述的是不喜爱听音乐的一类人,被称之为amusic,他们之前都没有得到统一的诊断或者认识,直到现在。因此选择B项,Some
people's
inability
to
enjoy
music
意为,一些人无法欣赏音乐。A项错在strange
behaviors,文章只是说他们不喜欢有音乐的地方,并没有讲到他们其他的一些奇怪的举动。C项Musical
talent
and
brain
structure音乐天赋和大脑构造,明显与文章大意不符。D项中错在treatment,意为治疗,文章并没有讲到如何帮助这些人治疗他们的问题。因此排除D项。
【答案】 B
B

to

was

My

Ⅳ.阅读填句
(2016·哈尔滨六中高二上期末)Lately,
there
is
a
rising
trend
in
families
choosing
to
homeschool
their
child
than
send
their
child
to
a
traditional
educational
institution.Let's
look
at
some
of
the
benefits
of
homeschooling.
1.Flexible
schedule.
Homeschooling
enables
a
flexible
schedule.__1__
With
homeschooling,
your

2.Individual
attention.
With
homeschooling,
your

gets
all
the
individual
attention.For
example,
if
your
child
is
weak
in
maths,you
could
devote
more
time
and
energy
to
teaching
maths.Your
child's
homeschooling
schedule
can
be
adjusted
for
that.For
example,
if
your
child
is
better
at
science
than
at
maths,
simply
devote
more
homeschooling
hours
to
maths
and
cut
back
on
science.With
homeschooling,
the
choice
is
yours.__2__
3.Family
activity.
The
schooling
of
the
child
can
become
an
extended
family
activity.Examples
are
field
trips
and
experiments.Plus,
the
child
also
receives
more
quality
time
with
his/her
parents.__3__
The
child
is
also
free
of
any
negative
peer
pressure
or
influences.
4.__4__
With
homeschooling,
the
child
does
not
need
to
prove
his/her
abilities
to
other
children.Parents
are
able
to
plan
the
learning
program
according
to
his
strengths
and
weaknesses.
Parents
can
also
change
the
curriculum
to
suit
the
learning
style
of
the
child.__5__Some
children
even
learn
better
from
experiencing
or
seeing
things
in
action.
A.
No
peer
pressure.
B.Religion
Learning.
C.Traditional
schools
can't
do
that.
D.There
is
more
time
for
family
bonding.
E.For
example,
the
child
needn't
wake
up
at
7
every
morning.
F.Plus,
it
is
quite
impossible
to
provide
individual
attention
to
all
students.
G.For
example,some
children
learn
better
from
reading
while
others
need
to
write.

have

say
it

says
the

comes
from

does

says
researchers
in

compared
how

children
in
the
musical

group
did
on
mental
processing
tasks
or
projects,
then
the
results
were
compared
to
those
of
children
who
did
not

lessons.There
was
no
evidence
that
the
musical

group
did
much
better
on
the
mental

than
the

The
researchers
confirmed
the

A
(2016·枣庄三中高二检测)Sixteen

I
learned
this
lesson
in
the
back
of
a
New
York
City
taxi
cab.Here's
what
happened.I
hopped
in
a
taxi,
and
we
took
off
for
Grand
Central
Station.We
were
driving
in
the
right
lane
when
all
of
a
sudden,
a
black
car
jumped
out
of
a
parking
space
right
in
front
of
us.My
taxi
driver
slammed
on
his
brakes,
skidded,
and
missed
the
other
car's
back
end
by
just
inches!
The
driver
of
the
other
car,who
almost
caused
a
big
accident,started
yelling
bad
words
at
us.My
taxi
driver
just
smiled
and
waved
at
the
guy.And
I
mean
he
was
friendly.So,
I
said,
“Why
did
you
just
do
that?This
guy
almost
ruined
your
car
and
sent
us
to
the
hospital!”And
this
is
when
my
taxi
driver
told
me
what
I
now
call
“The
Law
of
the
Garbage
Truck.”
Many
people
are
like
garbage(rubbish)
trucks.They
run
around
full
of
garbage,full
of
frustration,full
of
anger,and
full
of
disappointment.As
their
garbage
piles
up,
they
need
a
place
to
dump
it.And
if
you
let
them,they'll
dump
it
on
you.When
someone
wants
to
dump
on
you,
don't
take
it
personally.You
just
smile,wave,
wish
them
well,
and
move
on.You'll
be
happy
with
what
you
did.
I
started
thinking,
how
often
do
I
let
Garbage
Trucks
run
right
over
me
And
how
often
do
I
take
their
garbage
and
spread
it
to
other
people
at
work,at
home,or
on
the
streets
It
was
that
day
I
said,“I'm
not
going
to
do
anymore.”
Successful
people
do
not
let
Garbage
Trucks
take
over
their
day.What
about
you?If
you
let
more
garbage
trucks
pass
you
by,you'll
be
happier.Life's
too
short
to
wake
up
in
the
morning
with
regrets.So,love
the
people
who
treat
you
right.Forget
about
the
ones
who
don't.

Shennong,5,000
years
ago.Britain's
relationship
with
tea
is
much
shorter,but
tea
enjoys
the
pride
as
the
UK's
national
drink.According
to
the
UK
Tea
Council,British
people
drink
an
average
of
three
cups
a
day
or
a
national
total
of
165
million
cups
every
day.
With
figures
like
these,it
is
no
surprise
that
time
spent
taking
tea
affects
the
working
day
in
Britain.A
recent
survey
found
that
24
minutes
a
day
are
lost
to
making,buying
and
drinking
tea
and
coffee.That
is,£400
a
year
is
lost
in
working
hours
per
employee,or
190
days
over
a
lifetime.So,should
employers
be
worried
about
this
lost
working
time,or
does
the
tea
break
make
up
in
other
ways
One
argument
is
that
caffeine
improves
mental
state:a
drink
of
tea
or
coffee
can
make
you
active
and
focus
on
work.
Professor
Rogers
of
the
University
of
Bristol
disagrees.After
years
of
studying
caffeine
he
sees
nothing
can
prove
that.“Workers
would
perform
equally
well
if
not
drinking
it
at
all,”he
says.“But
if
they're
often
drinking
it
and
then
go
without,they'll
feel
tired
and
won't
work
well.”
Psychologist
Cooper
instead
emphasizes
the
role
tea
breaks
play
in
office
life,and
in
building
social
relationships.“We
need
to
make
people
more
active
and
see
other
people.The
tea
break
is
one
way
of
doing
this,”says
Cooper.
And
Professor
Rogers
also
points
out
the
comfort
effect
of
a
hot
drink:“We
warm
our
hands
on
them
on
a
cold
day;they're
comforting
and
play
a
big
role
in
our
everyday
life.Whatever
the
caffeine's
doing,I'd
say
these
24
minutes
aren't
wasted.”

As
an
English
teacher,I've
been
lucky
enough
to
travel
to
many
countries
all
over
the
world.I've
seen
people
celebrating
everything
from
the
arrival
of
new
babies
to
the
delivery
of
new
cars.I've
attended
weddings,
parties
and
religious
celebrations
in
countries
such
as
Argentina
and
Japan,
and
I've
noticed
that
gold—the
metal
or
the
colour
of
it—is
always
part
of
cultural
events,traditions
and
celebrations.
It
makes
me
wonder:Why
do
people
love
gold
For
some
people,gold
seems
to
be
a
status(地位)symbol.Indian
businessman
Datta
Phuge
loves
gold
so
much
that
he's
even
bought
a
shirt
made
of
gold
at
a
cost
of
$250,000.I'm
not
sure
I'd
spend
so
much
money
on
a
shirt,would
you?But
Datta
Phuge
has
his
reason.He
explains,“Some
people
want
to
own
an
Audi
or
a
Mercedes.I
choose
gold.”
For
other
people,
gold
is
an
investment.The
price
of
gold
generally
increases
over
time
and
in
European
markets,
it
reached
even
$1,500
per
ounce
in
2011.
And
for
many
people,
a
family
heirloom
(传家宝)
brings
together
status
and
investment.My
mother
has
a
gold
bracelet
(手镯)
that
was
given
to
her
by
her
grandmother
who,in
turn,
inherited
it
from
her
own
grandmother.It's
quite
a
heavy
piece
and
probably
worth
quite
a
lot
of
money.But
its
mental
value
is
greater
than
its
value
in
dollars.It's
a
beautiful
object
that
holds
many
family
memories.When
the
time
comes,
my
mum
will
give
the
bracelet
to
me,
and
one
day,I'll
pass
it
on
to
the
younger
generation.
Therefore,status
and
investment
are
good
reasons
to
value
gold.However,I
think
that
the
real
reason
why
people
love
gold
is
that
it
can
be
made
into
beautiful
objects.Think
about
Tutankhamen's
death
mask.Have
you
ever
seen
anything
so
beautiful
People
love
gold
because
it
holds
their
minds,
their
imaginations
and,
above
all,their
hearts.
【语篇解读】 不同文化背景的人都喜爱黄金或金色的东西。它既是身份的象征,又可以作为投资的对象,更重要的是,它还承载着人们美好的想象或回忆。

countries
B.people

the

love
gold
C.there
are
many
ways
to
use
gold
D.people
celebrate

everything
【解析】 主旨大意题。根据第一段提到的地点、场合和人们在很多时候使用黄金的事实,都指向了文章的话题:“People
love
gold.”第二段“It
make
me
wonder:Why
do
people
love
gold?”起到了承上启下的作用。对比选项,B项正确。
【答案】 B
13.Datta

because
________.
A.people
there
love
gold
so
much
B.he
loves
this
kind
of
shirt
C.gold
is
a
status
symbol
to
him
D.he
is
a
successful
businessman
【解析】 细节理解题。根据第三段“Some
people...gold.”一句,可知Datta
Phuge不像其他人那样通过买豪车,而是通过拥有黄金来展示自己是有钱人的身份。所以C项正确。
【答案】 C
14.According

could
be
________
per
ounce
in
2010.
A.$1,450
B.$1,500
C.$1,550
D.$1,600
【解析】 推理判断题。根据第四段“The
price
of
gold...markets,it
reached
even
$1,500
per
ounce
in
2011.”可知,金价一直在上涨,2011年是$1,500,2010年应该低于这个价格,所以A项正确。

Many
American
cities
have
interesting
nicknames.Nicknames
can
help
establish
the
identity
of
a
city.They
can
also
spread
pride
among
its
citizens.But
nicknames
sometimes
can
make
fun
of
something.
Cleveland,Ohio
is
a
city
in
America's
Midwest.One
of
its
earliest
nicknames
was
Forest
City.No
one
knows
for
sure
who
gave
it
this
name
in
the
eighteen
thirties.But
Cleveland
probably
had
a
lot
of
trees.This
nickname
became
popular
among
local
businesses
in
the
eighteen
fifties.Today,some
businesses
in
the
Cleveland
area
still
use
Forest
City
in
their
names.
Cleveland
sits
next
to
Lake
Erie,one
of
North
America's
Great
Lakes,which
was
once
a
major
manufacturing
city.Ships
used
the
lake
for
transporting
goods.In
the
nineteen
fifties,businesses
called
Cleveland,the
Best
Location
in
the
Nation.
However,many
factories
closed
or
moved
away.Cleveland
had
severe
financial
problems
in
the
nineteen
sixties
and
seventies.In
nineteen
sixty nine,the
city
became
famous,but
not
in
a
good
way.Cleveland's
Cuyahoga
River
caught
on
fire
because
of
industrial
wastes
on
the
surface
of
the
river.So
in
the
nineteen
seventies,the
national
media
began
calling
the
city
The
Mistake
on
the
Lake.
Since
then,Cleveland
has
sought
to
improve
its
image,so
the
Rock
and
Roll
Hall
of
Fame
and
Museum
opened
in
Cleveland
in
nineteen
ninety five.So
the
city
is
proud
of
its
latest
nickname.The
Rock
and
Roll
Capital
of
the
World.
Another
city
in
the
Midwest
is
Detroit,Michigan,which
lies
near
Great
Lakes.Henry
Ford
started
the
Ford
Motor
Company
in
Detroit
in
nineteen
zero
three.Five
years
later,he
made
the
first
“Model
T”automobile.Within
ten
years,Detroit
was
being
called
The
Motor
City.It
is
still
the
center
of
the
automobile
industry
in
America.
Another
popular
nickname
for
Detroit
is
Motown.Berry
Gordy,Junior
started
the
Motown
Record
Corporation
in
Detroit
in
nineteen
fifty nine.African
American
singers
recording
for
the
company
were
extremely
popular
in
the
nineteen
sixties
and
nineteen
seventies.Their
records
were
so
successful
that
Detroit
was
also
called
Hitsville(金曲乌托邦),USA.

Many
American
cities
have
interesting
nicknames.Nicknames
can
help
establish
the
identity
of
a
city.They
can
also
spread
pride
among
its
citizens.But
nicknames
sometimes
can
make
fun
of
something.
Cleveland,Ohio
is
a
city
in
America's
Midwest.One
of
its
earliest
nicknames
was
Forest
City.No
one
knows
for
sure
who
gave
it
this
name
in
the
eighteen
thirties.But
Cleveland
probably
had
a
lot
of
trees.This
nickname
became
popular
among
local
businesses
in
the
eighteen
fifties.Today,some
businesses
in
the
Cleveland
area
still
use
Forest
City
in
their
names.
Cleveland
sits
next
to
Lake
Erie,one
of
North
America's
Great
Lakes,which
was
once
a
major
manufacturing
city.Ships
used
the

However,many
factories
closed
or
moved
away.Cleveland
had
severe
financial
problems
in
the
nineteen
sixties
and
seventies.In
nineteen
sixty nine,the
city
became
famous,but
not
in
a
good
way.Cleveland's
Cuyahoga
River
caught
on
fire
because
of
industrial
wastes
on
the
surface
of
the
river.So
in
the
nineteen
seventies,the
national
media
began
calling
the
city
The
Mistake
on
the
Lake.
Since
then,Cleveland
has
sought
to
improve
its
image,so
the
Rock
and
Roll
Hall
of
Fame
and
Museum
opened
in
Cleveland
in
nineteen
ninety five.So
the
city
is
proud
of
its
latest
nickname.The
Rock
and
Roll
Capital
of
the
World.
Another
city
in
the
Midwest
is
Detroit,Michigan,which
lies
near
Great

ten
years,Detroit
was
being
called
The
Motor
City.It
is
still
the
center
of
the
automobile
industry
in
America.
Another
popular
nickname
for
Detroit
is
Motown.Berry

the
city
a
monument
to
human
history.
但是,与城里的建筑及物品相比,那些在那场灾难中遇难的人的轮廓形象则更能使得这座城市成为人类历史上的一座纪念碑。
【句式分析】 句中it
is...that为强调句,强调了the
forms
of
the
people
who
were
caught
in
the
disaster。
(1)强调句的基本结构为:It
is/was+被强调部分+that/who+其他成分。它可以用来强调句中的某些成分,如主语、宾语、状语等,但该结构不能用来强调谓语。被强调的部分指人时用that,who均可,指物或情况时用that。
(2)一般疑问句:It/Was
it+被强调部分+that/who+其他?
(3)对not...until结构中状语进行强调时,not需置于被强调的部分之中,构成“It
is/was
not
until...that...”结构。
(4)特殊疑问句:Where/When/What...+is/was
it+that/who+其他?
①It
is
Wang
Yaping
who
is
China's
first
teacher
in
space.
中国的第一位太空教师是王亚平。
②Where
was
it

Tom

until
she
took
off
her
sunglasses
that
I
recognized
she
was
a
famous
film
star.
直到她摘下墨镜,我才认出她是位著名影星。
[名师点津]
(1)判断句子是否为强调句的方法:把it
is/was和that/who去掉,再把被强调部分归位到它本来的位置,句子完整就为强调句。
(2)被强调代词的形式应与原句保持一致,其谓语动词的单复数与原句主语保持一致。
(教材P6)Another
man,lying
on
his
side,looks
as
if
he
is
trying
to
get
up.
躺在他旁边的另一个人看上去好像是在试图站立起来。
【句式分析】 这是一个主从复合句,another
man
looks...是主句,as
if引导表语从句。
as
if/though还可以引导方式状语从句,从句可用陈述语气,也可用虚拟语气。as
if/though引导的从句用虚拟语气时,从句的时态用一般过去时,表示与现在事实相反;用过去完成时,表示与过去事实相反。
①He
treats
his
sister
as
if/though
she
were
a
stranger.
他待他姐姐如陌生人。
②He
speaks
English
as
if

Roman
writer
called

【分析】 本句是一个主从复合句,that引导定语从句,修饰先行词eruption。句中过去分词短语called
Pliny作后置定语,修饰writer。
【翻译】 大约公元一世纪末,一位名叫普利尼的罗马作家描述了他年轻时目睹的一次可怕的火山爆发的情景。

二、构成
主语+had+动词的过去分词
You
abandoned

map
because
you
had
learned
how
to
get
home.
你丢掉地图,因为你已经学会如何回家。
三、基本用法

表示在过去的某一时间或某一动作之前完成的动作或存在的状态,也就是“过去的过去”。可以用by,before等介词短语或一个时间状语从句、用一个表示过去的动作以及通过上下文来表示。
By
nine
o'clock
last
night,we
had
got
200
pictures
from
the
spaceship.
到昨晚9点钟,我们已经收到200张从宇宙飞船发来的图片。
How

had

taught
in
the
middle

before

I
was
very
sad
at
his
death.We
had
been
good
friends
since
our
childhood.
他的去世使我很悲伤。我们自童年时代起就是好朋友。
2.用于宾语从句或间接引语中
I
wondered
who
had
taken
the
umbrella
without
permission.
我想知道谁不经允许就把雨伞拿走了。
3.表示未曾实现的愿望或打算,主要用于表示“愿望,打算”一类的词,如hope,want,expect,think,suppose,plan,mean,intend等动词。
They
had
wanted
to
help
but
could
not
get
there
in
time.
他们本打算去帮忙,但没有及时赶到那里。
4.过去完成时用于一些固定句型中,例如This/It/That
was
the
first/second...time+that从句(从句中用过去完成时),Hardly(scarcely/barely)had...done...when...和No
sooner
had...done...
than...结构。
Hardly
had
he
begun
to
speak
when
the
audience
interrupted
him.
他刚开始演讲,听众就打断了他。
5.过去完成时用于虚拟语气,在wish,as
if/though,if,if
only,would
rather
sb.had
done
sth.结构或从句中,常用过去完成时来表示与过去的事实相反。
If
he
had
caught
the
early
bus
this
morning,he
would
not
have
been
late
for
class.
如果他今天早上赶上了早班车,他上课就不会迟到了。
四、语法区别
1.一般过去时与过去完成时的用法区别
(1)一般过去时表示过去时间发生的动作或存在的状态;而过去完成时表示在过去某一时间或动作之前已完成的动作或状态,即“过去的过去”。当强调过去某一动作发生在另一动作之前,常用过去完成时。
The
sports
meeting
began
at
8
a.m.last
Saturday.
上周六运动会是在上午八点开始的。
The
sports
meeting
had
begun
when
we
got
to
school.
我们到学校时,运动会已经开始了。
(2)一般过去时与过去完成时都可以和确定的表示过去的时间状语连用,但侧重点有所不同。
They
had
done
the
work
at
five
o'clock.
在五点的时候他们已经完成了那项工作。
They
did
the
work
at
five
o'clock.
他们是在五点钟做那项工作的。
上述第一句中只说明工作在五点钟已经完成,并未说明工作是什么时候做的;第二句就明确告诉我们,工作是五点钟做的。
2.过去完成时与现在完成时的区别
现在完成时表示的是延续到现在或同现在有关的动作,句中不可有表示过去特定时间的状语,而过去完成时表示的是过去某时之前已经完成或延续到过去某时的动作,句中可有表示过去特定时间的状语。
I
have
finished
my
homework.
我已经完成了作业。
I
had
finished
my
homework
by
10:00
this
morning.
到今天上午10点钟我已完成了我的作业。

如何写好记叙文
记叙文也是现在英语考试作文的常考文体,在写此类文章时要做到以下几点:
首先,要把握住记叙文的六大要素,即时间(when)、地点(where)、人物(who)、事件(what)、原因(why)和过程(how)。把握好这六大要素,叙事性记叙文就成功了一半。
第二,要把握记叙文的结果。在文章开头要交代故事发生的时间、地点和人物,然后写事件的原因及发展过程,最后写结果,同时在结尾处要尽量自然,点明文章主题。并且要有一条线索贯穿全文,使整个文章融为一体。
第三,要把握好人称。此类文章通常用第一人称和第三人称。
第四,要注意时态的运用。在故事写作过程中,一般用过去时态。在描写背景或景象时,常用过去进行时,这样显得更加形象生动。
第五,要润色简单句,增加过渡性词汇,使文章前后通顺自然,成为一个有机整体。

then
the
results
were
compared
to
those
of

can

sounds
well.They
also
have
no
problems
understanding
ordinary
speech.Scientists
compare
amusics
to
people
who
just
can't
see
certain
colors.
Many
amusics
are
happy
when
their
condition
is
finally
diagnosed
(诊断).For
years,
Margaret
felt
embarrassed
about
her
problem
with
music.Now
she
knows
that
she
is
not
alone.There
is
a
name
for
her
condition.That
makes
it
easier
for
her
to
explain.“When
people
invite
me
to
a
concert,
I
just
say,‘No
thanks,
I'm
amusic,’”says
Margaret.“I
just
wish
I
had
learned
to
say
that
when
I
was
seventeen
and
not
seventy.”
【语篇解篇】 文章讲述的是世界上有一群天生不喜欢听音乐的人,被称之为amusic,这些人听力上没有任何问题,只是不喜欢听音乐,也无法欣赏音乐。很多人在之前都因此而苦恼,现在有了科学的解释,他们可以摆脱那种尴尬、不自在的处境了。
1.Which
of
the
following
is
TRUE
of
amusics
A.Listening
to
music
is
far
from
enjoyable
for
them.
B.They
love
places
where
they
are
likely
to
hear
music.
C.They
can
easily
tell
two
different
songs
apart.
D.Their
situation
is
well
understood
by
musicians.
【解析】 细节理解题。根据第一段“For
some
people,music
is
no
fun
at
all.”可知,A项正确,意为“对于某些人来说,听音乐并不是开心的事情”和A项的听音乐对他们来说远非是愉快的相同。因此,B项也是错误的,根据第一段的“People
who
are
amusic
are
born
without
the
ability
to
recognize
or
reproduce
musical
notes
(音调).Amusic
people
often
cannot
tell
the
difference
between
two
songs.”可知,C、D两项错误。
【答案】 A
2.According
to
Paragraph
3,
a
person
with
“defective
hearing”
is
probably
one
who________.
A.dislikes
listening
to
speeches
B.can
hear
anything
non musical
C.has
a
hearing
problem
D.lacks
a
complex
hearing
system
【解析】 推理判断题。该段前两句讲的是不爱听音乐的人和喜欢听音乐的人是不同的,他们之间的区别很复杂,但是“They
also
have
no
problems
understanding
ordinary
speech.”又讲到了这些不爱听音乐的人在理解其他非音乐的声音或者演讲的时候是没有问题的,目的是为了强调他们是正常的,没有什么缺陷的,因此defective
hearing指的是C项的a
hearing
problem,即听觉有问题。句意“他们之间的区别是很复杂的,但并不包括听觉有问题这种情况”。
【答案】 C
3.In
the
last
paragraph,Margaret
expressed
her
wish
that
________.
A.her
problem
with
music
had
been
diagnosed
earlier
B.she
were
seventeen
years
old
rather
than
seventy
C.her
problem
could
be
easily
explained
D.she
were
able
to
meet
other
amusics
【解析】 细节理解题。“I
just
wish
I
had
learned
to
say
that
when
I
was
seventeen
and
not
seventy.”意为,我希望我在十七岁的时候就学会了这样说(指的是No
thanks,I'm
amusic这句,意为,谢谢你,我是一个不喜欢听音乐的人),而不是到了七十岁才学会。从最后一段我们知道,their
condition
is
finally
diagnosed(诊断)他们的这种状况终于最后确诊了,他们都属于amusic,但是这来的太迟了,对于Margaret来说,因为之前她总是感到很尴尬,因此她希望她年轻的时候,就可以有现在这样的诊断。
【答案】 A
4.What
is
the
passage
mainly
concerned
with
A.Amusics'
strange
behaviours.
B.Some
people's
inability
to
enjoy
music.
C.Musical
talent
and
brain
structure.
D.Identification
and
treatment
of
amusics.
【解析】 主旨大意题。全文主要讲述的是不喜爱听音乐的一类人,被称之为amusic,他们之前都没有得到统一的诊断或者认识,直到现在。因此选择B项,Some
people's
inability
to
enjoy
music
意为,一些人无法欣赏音乐。A项错在strange
behaviors,文章只是说他们不喜欢有音乐的地方,并没有讲到他们其他的一些奇怪的举动。C项Musical
talent
and
brain
structure音乐天赋和大脑构造,明显与文章大意不符。D项中错在treatment,意为治疗,文章并没有讲到如何帮助这些人治疗他们的问题。因此排除D项。
【答案】 B
B

father
took
the
money
to

girl.It
was
just

her
to

needed.
My
father
never
told
me
what
the
O.Henry

was
about.But
I

there
is
a
rising
trend
in
families
choosing
to
homeschool
their
child
than

could
devote
more
time
and
energy
to
teaching
maths.Your
child's
homeschooling
schedule
can
be
adjusted
for
that.For
example,
if
your
child
is
better
at
science
than
at
maths,
simply
devote
more
homeschooling
hours
to
maths
and
cut
back
on
science.With
homeschooling,
the
choice
is
yours.__2__
3.Family
activity.
The
schooling
of
the
child
can
become
an

activity.Examples
are
field
trips
and
experiments.Plus,
the
child
also
receives
more
quality
time
with
his/her
parents.__3__

to
his
strengths
and
weaknesses.
Parents
can
also
change
the
curriculum
to
suit
the
learning
style
of
the
child.__5__Some
children
even
learn
better
from
experiencing
or
seeing
things
in
action.
A.
No
peer
pressure.
B.Religion
Learning.
C.Traditional
schools
can't
do
that.
D.There
is
more
time
for
family
bonding.
E.For
example,
the
child
needn't
wake
up
at
7
every
morning.
F.Plus,
it
is
quite
impossible
to
provide
individual
attention
to
all
students.
G.For
example,some
children
learn
better
from
reading
while
others
need
to
write.
