MODULE 5 THE PAST UNIT 13 What Did You Do Yesterday
一、教学内容分析
Unit 13 Sing Along & Work with Language
二、教学目标
(一)语言知识目标
1. 复习巩固U13已学动词的过去式,继续学习其他动词的过去式,如talked。
2.句型
Did you/he/she/they … Yes, I/he/she/they did.
No, I/he/she/they didn’t.
What did you do I …V-ed.
What did he/she/they do He/She/They…V-ed.
(二)语言技能目标
1.能熟练地说出已学动词的过去式。
2.能基本读出动词加ed后的发音。
3.能以自然的语音、语调演唱课文歌曲Remember Yesterday(课本P60)。
4.能自然地运用已学句型描述和表达自己做过什么事情,或与他人进行自然地交流,知道问与答的句型。
(三)学习策略目标
1.培养学生与人交流的习惯,在交流中学到东西的策略。
2.培养学生学会结合已学知识进行新知识的学习,降低学习的难度,形成知识网络的策略。
3.培养学生把学习和生活实际联系起来,把学习生活化的学习策略。
4.培养学生学会通过观察和对比进行自我归纳和概括的学习策略。
(四)情感态度目标
让学生当自己学习和生活的小主人,从总结自己上星期做了什么,下星期打算做什么,逐渐引导学生形成良好的生活和学习的方式,提高学生学习的主动性和自觉性。
三、教学重点
1.复习巩固动词的过去式。
2.能结合实际情况,正确地运用过去式的句型谈论和描述过去做了什么的话题。
四、教学难点
在适当的情景中,一般过去式句型的灵活运用。
五、教学过程
(一) 热身与复习
1. 教师向学生提供单词,学生以小组比赛形式把词分类放在“小屋”内,教师提供的词可以是:
laughed, waved, pointed, worked, hoped, wanted, deaden, played, studied, sounded…
(引起学生的学习兴趣,给学生热身并且回忆上节课所学的知识.)
2. 听老师读动词的过去式,帮这些动词找到它们的家。(老师有计划地说P61 Work with Language 里的动词。)
played, cleaned, talked, washed, helped, painted, marked, prepared…
(为新课的学习做好准备.)
(二) 呈现与操练
1.Guessing Game: What did Mr. Webb do last …
He… last Monday.
(把61页的图片制成幻灯片,每一幅图只显示一半,让学生借助图片去猜并说。)逐步引出句型:
He played tennis in the morning last Monday.
He cleaned the house all day last Tuesday.
He did gardening in the afternoon last Wednesday.
He went to see a doctor last Thursday.
He went shopping last Friday.
He talked with Ann on the phone last Saturday.
He washed the car last Sunday.
(激发学生的学习兴趣,培养学生的观察能力。)
2. Free Talk:
同位互相分享: What did you do last… I….
(培养学生运用语言进行表达和交流.)
3. A new chant: 在老师的示范下,学生通过诗歌的朗读,体验诗的韵律,并口头强化部分动词的过去式;之后让学生自己创编新的诗歌, What did they do What did they do
They played football, and what did you do
I played tennis, what about you
I played tennis like you.
(培养学生的创造性思维能力。)
4.呈现并操练歌曲Remember Yesterday
(1) 首次播放歌曲,让学生听、感受并猜歌的大意。
(2) 再播放一次,学生模仿跟唱。
(3) 不断重放歌曲,让学生尝试歌唱这歌曲。
(通过歌曲的教和学,激发学生的学习兴趣,感受英文歌的节奏和韵律。)
(三) 巩固与发展
1. 读故事: Activity Book P57 Ex?6。
Pandy: What are you doing, Piggy
Piggy: I’m writing my diary (日记).
Pandy: Can I see it, please
Piggy: No way! Where were we yesterday morning, Pandy
Pandy: Well, we were at school.
Piggy: Where were we yesterday afternoon
Pandy: Well, we were at school.
Piggy: Where were we the day before yesterday
Pandy: Well, we were at school.
Piggy: Oh, yes.
Pandy: I can see your diary now. It’s not interesting at all. It says, “I was at school today, I was at school today, I was at school today.”
(1) 阅读后回答有关对话的问题。
(2) 向老师问有关对话中没提及的问题。
( 通过此故事的阅读,增加学生学习的趣味性,并有计划地引出下一步的写日记。)
2.Writing: 通过以上的笑话,引出此步骤——Write a diary about last week
格式: date: It was… day: It was…
did: I …
Example: It was November 3rd. It was Sunday. I read a book. I felt happy.
It was… It was... I … I felt…
(培养学生信息加工处理和表达交流能力.)
(四) 小结
1.让学生通过小组讨论然后自行归纳和概括动词加ed 后的发音规则;
2.让学生归纳和总结有关一般过去式的句型:
Did you/he/she/they …
Yes, I/he/she/they did. No, I/he/she/they didn’t.
What did you do I …V-ed.
What did he/she/they do He/She/They…V-ed.
(五) 布置作业
1. 继续完成有关上星期做了什么事的日记。
2.用英文准备下节课进行分享。
教学反思:
虽然课文并没有要求学生在本单元中按照正规的格式用英语写日记,但是由于月份、星期和天气都已经学过了,现在又学了写英语日记的基本时态--------一般过去时,写英语日记的各要素已经齐备,所以趁着本课出现了 diary这个话题教会学生写简单的英语日记也是顺理成章的事情,而且还锻炼了学生用一般过去时态写话的能力。
