UNIT 17 It's the Spring Festival Soon
一、教学内容
练习写英语关于节日的句子。
本课是Module 6 的第五课时，学生已经学习了第16课和第17课，学习了一些节日以及相关短语，本课将在巩固复习的基础上对课文的学习内容进行整合，帮助学生在老师的指导下利用本课的单词、短语及以前所学的知识进行英语写的练习。
二、教学目标
（一）语言知识与技能目标
1.能熟练说出节日名称和相关的短语，如dumplings , fantastic…
2.能运用课文的句子，如go to the Flower Fair , adults give lucky money to children…
3.能围绕节日主题连贯说出几个句子。
4.能参照范例，写几句话。
（二）学习策略目标
1.鼓励学生主动练习所学的内容，敢于大胆用英语思考和回答问题。
2.培养学生积极与他人合作，共同完成学习任务。
3.培养学生学会对已学知识进行观察，进行归纳和概括，或与老师同学进行讨论的学习策略。
4.鼓励学生自主探究学习。
（三）情感态度目标
1.培养学生学习英语的兴趣和勇于表达的习惯。
2.通过展示，朗读课堂作文，增强学习自信心。

初步了解中西文化异同，加深对本土文化的认同感。
三、教学策略分析
（一） 课文话题教学：利用节日图片、课件等创设气氛和情景，通过Free Talk 引入节日话题。
（二） 自主探究学习：鼓励学生通过资料收集，整理资料培养自学和合作学习的习惯。

（一） 热身与准备
（教师在黑板板书时采用灯笼、春联等装饰强化本节课的主题：节日，利用利是封作为学生分组的评分方式。）上课时，师生互相问好，教师询问：Do you like festivals What’s your favourite festival Do you know what is the most important festival in the USA
(二) 呈现与操练
任务一
1. T： Christmas is a very popular festival in western countries. Can you tell me something about it (教师利用flash 播放圣诞节图片和圣诞节背景音乐。)
T：It’s very popular. / It’s on Dec. 25th ./ Children get gifts from Father Christmas…
2. Snoopy 的来信
（1）T： Oh, my friend Snoopy sent me an e-mail. Would you like to take a look (引起学生注意，利用课件出示电子邮件，注意留出一些时间让学生观察去发现邮件有问题：句子的顺序打乱了。)
（2）T：Snoopy made a mistake. He put the sentences in wrong order. Can you make them into right order (学生小组合作排列正确顺序。)
（3）T：Please tell me your answer. (学生回答，教师板书，为下面的环节铺垫。)
(4) T: Good. If we want to talk about a festival, first we can talk about the…, and then… / What is the food / interesting, funny…ect)
(5) T: Now, let’s read aloud the e-mail. Can you tell me what Snoopy’s question is

F) We have the turkey and puddings at Christmas.

任务二
1. T：Can you tell me something about Spring Festival (学生观看有关春节片断。)
2. T：Can you talk about Spring Festival You can use one or two or three sentences. The more the better. (把学生发言的内容贴在相应的类别。)
3. T：You have got so many great ideas. Now tell your groupmates something about Spring Festival and you can get this minicard. If you can make a whole passage , you can get an extra one.(学生在小组发言赢取小卡片，鼓励中下生讲一到两句，优生能讲出五到六句，多者胜。)
4. T：Time to write Snoopy back. (再次强调写作策略，让学生给Snoopy写一封回信。)
5. 检查学生的完成情况，并且拿几篇有代表性的展示并进行集体批改。
（三）布置作业
1. 写你喜欢的节日（五至八句）。
2. 复习Unit 16 和 Unit 17.
