Module 3 At the weekend Unit 1 We visited lots of places.
第一课时　　单词教学
教学目标：
1.能认读本模块中的单词。
2.能书写四会单词wheel, wonderful, postcard, hour.
教学过程：
1. 通过图片或幻灯片呈现单词，如：the British Museum, the London Eye, wheel. 并向学生简单描述一下the London Eye. 如:It’s a big wheel in London and it’s very famous. 并问学生：Do you understand 引出单词understand并板书，接着教师通过语气和表情让学生领会understand的意思，比如：(用疑问的语气)Do you understand （点头）Yes, I understand. 然后鼓励学生思考：这个词是由哪两个词组成的呢？进而复习了under和stand这两个词。
2. 通过体态语学习单词，如：wonderful. 教师可以让学生读前面三个单词，对于读得非常流利的学生教师可以做出吃惊的表情，并伸出大拇指说：Wonderful! 通过表情和体态语帮助学生理解单词。
3．利用实物出示单词，如：postcard.
4．运用新旧对比法学习单词，如：hour 和 our.
5. 利用简笔画呈现单词，如：mountain.
我们可以通过多种形式让学生操练单词，如：利用卡片让学生快看快说、英汉反向说、读词接龙、分组读、爬音高读，看口型猜单词等。
6．看音标书写单词，教师把四会单词的音标写到黑板上，与学生一起根据音标写出单词，之后学生自己练习书写。
7．做“Bingo”游戏复习本课单词。
第二课时　句型教学
学习内容：句型What did you do at the weekend Where did you go 并回答。
教学重难点：能够用what和where询问并描述过去发生的事情。
教学过程：
Activity 1: Sing a song 唱第一模块的英语歌曲Where did you go 让学生在歌曲中复习疑问词what, where.
Activity 2: Free talk
利用where , what两个疑问词进行口语交际，例如：What’s this What are you doing What are you going to do on Sunday Where’s my book Where are you from 等，通过简单的口语问答，复习由where，what疑问词进行提问的疑问句，为本课的学习做好铺垫。
Activity 3: Revision （复习）
首先复习一下学过的动词的过去式，如：come-came, go-went, drop-dropped, meet-met, buy-bought，play-played等，最简单的方法是教师说动词原形，学生说出其过去式。接着用听音做动作的方法复习所学过的动词短语，如：listen to music, watch TV, play basketball, row a boat, take pictures等，为后面的学习做好准备。
Activity 4: Learn the drills （学习句型）
教师可以用谈话的方式引出句型，如：I had a busy weekend. I played football, I did the housework, I went to Yantai.等。接着提问学生：What did you do at the weekend 并板书，通过屏幕帮助学生理解这句话的意思：周末你干什么了？并提示学生这句话中的at the weekend 表示已经过去的这个周末，而 What will you do at the weekend 这句话中at the weekend则表示即将到来的这个周末。教师领读句子What did you do at the weekend 接着鼓励学生进行回答，然后采用师生问答、同桌操练、小组练习等方法，使学生牢固掌握这个句型。接着出示北京天安门的图片并陈述：I went to Beijing at the weekend. I visited lots of places. 同时出示the Great Wall, the Summer Palace 的图片，让学生明白lots of places. 接着提问学生：Where did you go at the weekend 并板书，教师领读，然后鼓励学生回答并在同桌、小组之间展开问答练习。在学生熟练掌握了这两个句型后，可以把第一模块的句型When did you come back 也写到黑板上，让学生将这三个句型结合起来进行操练。
Activity 5: game （游戏）
做击鼓传花的游戏，复习这两个句型。
Activity 6: Extension (扩展练习)
可采用小记者采访的形式对上周末的活动做一个小调查，并通过调查来考察学生能否熟练地运用一般过去时。
第三课时 Unit 1 课文教学
教学目标：让学生能理解并熟练读出Unit 1的内容，能提问并描述自己周末的活动。
教学重难点：理解课文，谈论周末活动
教学过程：
1. 复习本模块的单词并通过口语交流形式复习由what和where 引导的一般过去时的句子。
2.教师语言导入课文：Look at the first picture, what is Amy doing Yes, she’s phoning Sam. Do you know what they said 接着学生自己获小组合作尝试读一下课文，感知课文的大体内容。
3.听录音，教师提出问题：What did Lingling, Sam and Amy do at the weekend Where did they go What’s the London Eye Did Lingling like the London Eye What did Lingling like best 学生讨论，回答问题。之后教师提问：到目前为止，你知道英国都有那些著名景物？学生说出所学过的景物，如：Tower Bridge, Hyde Park, the River Thames, the British Museum, the London Eye, Big Ben. 同时屏幕出示这些景物，教师说：They are all very beautiful. But I like the London Eye best. Which do you like best 让学生回答I like … best. 对like… best进行简单练习。
4.学生根据自己的情况，提出疑难问题，在教师的指引和帮助下解决难点。
5.听录音读课文，描述课文内容。
