Lesson Four
This lesson covers “let’s make”, “let’s sing” and activity 5
Objectives
*Colour and make their own rainbows
*Sing a rainbow song
*Recognize the English form of the target words by sight.
Language focuses:
Productive: color words and key pattern in this unit
Receptive: instruction in “let’s make”
Procedures:
Activity 1:
Sing the rainbow song
Activity 2:
Talk about a rainbow. Name the colours in the children’s rainbows.
Activity 3:
Listen and shape the words. Invite the children to come to the front, shape the word according to what they hear.
Activity 4:
Get the children to do activity 5 in pairs.
Activity 5:
Ask the children to show their parents the rainbows they have made and sing the song or chant. End the class.
