Lesson 2
This lesson will cover let’s make, let’s play in the textbook and Ex. 2 in the activity book.

*Understand and say the word “skip rope”
*Describe one of their favorite toys with the structure “I have a… It’s … I like my…”

Activity 1: chant the rhyme and sing the song
Chant the rhyme together
Ask some children to chant the rhyme they are asked to create at the end of last lesson. Then praise them for their creativity.
Activity 2: Let’s play
Sing the song “I have a puzzle”
“I have a puzzle. It’s red and green. It’s new. I like my puzzle.”
The teacher sticks four pictures on the blackboard to support the children when they describe the puzzles sentence by sentence.
The children show their own toys and introduce them to their classmates using the sentence structures above.
Activity 3: Ex.2 in activity book
The children report their answers and check them by listening to the tape and repeat the sentences one by one
