Lesson Four
Teaching content: Let's make Let’s play and Let’s Try
Objectives:
At the end of this lesson, hopefully these children will be able to:
1. Describe someone.
2. Enjoying making house.
3. Enjoy playing the hide and guess games.
4. Observe and tell the different between similar pictures.
Language focuses:
Vocabulary: house, living-room, bedroom, kitchen, washroom.
Structures: Where's grandpa In the kitchen.
Material needed:
A colorful house made by teacher, colour paper, crayons, glue, scissors.
Procedures:
Activity 1: A guessing game.
1. Show the children a colorful house made by the teacher.
2. Tell the children Amy is in the house and get them to guess where Amy is.
Activity 2: Let's make our own houses!
1. Tell the children they can also play the hide-and-guess games after they have made their own house.
2. Do a TPR activity and ask the children to follow the teacher's instructions showing the materials needed for making houses.

4. Get the children to follow the teacher's instructions on making houses and make their own houses.
5. Go around helping the children.
Activity 3: Let's play hide-and guess games!
1. Ask the children to cut out all the figures from Page 52 of the textbook and hide them in different rooms of their houses.
2. Ask the children to play games in pairs and guess the location of the cut-out figures through asking "Where's " and answering "In the "
Activity 4: Who is the best detective
1. Ask the children to observe the two houses in the textbook using a challenging tone.
2. Set up examples of how to describe the differences between the two pictures and give them some time to observe them.
3. Start the contest among the children and keep a record of their answers. At last, select a child who has describe the most differences between the two pictures to be the best detective.
