阅读是人们获取外部知识信息的重要手段。初中英语阅读教学的目的是帮助学生提高阅读兴趣,养成阅读习惯,以至达到乐于阅读的境界。
我们学校大部分学生是外来务工人员子
( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )女,家庭教育氛围不浓。很多家长缺乏对子女的正确引导和有效监护,多数学生处于放任自流的状态。学生行为习惯、自我控制能力普遍较弱。同时,大部分学生缺乏英语语言学习氛围,部分学生小学甚至没学过英语。进入中学,面临新教材对阅读能力要求的提高,教材阅读文本篇幅长的问题,很多学生难以适应,甚至对通篇阅读产生厌烦情绪。因此,我们开展了基于课程标准的英语阅读教学有效性的研究和实践。本节课主要是开展了以“如何调动学生阅读积极性”为主要研究内容的公开课研讨。效果良好,感触颇多,与各位同仁交流探讨。
一、巧立目标,调动阅读积极性
义务教育阶段英语课程的总体
( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )目标是培养学生初步的综合语言运用能力,并通过英语学习促进学生的心智发展,提高学生的综合人文素养。而积极的情感态度有利于促进学生主动学习和持续发展。第五单元的SECTION

的阅读课讲的是山区孩子亮亮乘坐索道去上学,虽然危险,但却不惧怕。这节阅读课的目标如果只是定位在能够理解文本内容,熟练掌握本单元与阅读相关的词汇和表达,以及描述较为负责的换乘经过并实现笔头输出,那就不能突出英语课程是以人为本的课程。我的教学目标设计了情感教育目标:学生在阅读文本的过程中能够感知知识的重要性,互相帮助是一种美德。比如:坐索道上学如此危险,为什么亮亮还是坚持去上学时,学生们明白了知识改变命运,村民的梦想是在河上架桥,对于这么贫穷的山区村民,如何实现他们的梦想呢?学生表示要伸出援助之手,能够感知赠人玫瑰,手留余香的道理。我的课堂设计不是简单地以掌握多少语言知识为目标,而是通过英语课程的学习形成自主学习的能力,学生在课后纷纷表示一定要珍惜上学机会,努力学习,并学有所成。

二、巧用教材,调动阅读积极性。
新课程提倡教学要立足于教材
( http: / / www.21cnjy.com ),又要超越教材,就是“用教材教,而不是教教材”。随着课程改革的推进,教材也在不断地更新、完善,但无论教材怎样更新,都不能及时适应学生的发展,创造性地运用教材以发挥教学艺术性尤为重要。
本单元的阅读材料是一篇记叙
( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )文,如何提高学生的阅读兴趣呢?读后环节,我大胆删除课本3a,3b的拓展,信中亮亮表达了想跟更多的城里孩子交朋友的想法,想了解他们的上学方式,学校情况,以及他们的梦想。我把读后拓展活动设计为:给亮亮写一封回信。回信的内容与自己的生活息息相关,也是本单元的重点话题,学生有很多话愿意跟同龄的笔友诉说,参与的积极性很高。
所以,在教学过程中,合理取舍教学内容,
( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )合理迁移教材,学生参与的积极性会大大提高,学生的收获体验也非同寻常。由此可见,在教学过程中,教师依据新课标对教材进行必要的优化,大胆地改造教材,让教材“为我所用,为生所用”,将激发学生乐于阅读的兴趣。
三、巧设方法,调动阅读积极性。
义务教育是普及教育
( http: / / www.21cnjy.com ),不是精英教育,义务教育阶段的英语教育就是要为所有学生提供掌握一门外语基础的机会。这就要求教师在教学过程中以学生为主体,充分发挥他们学习的主动性,激发每个学生学习英语的兴趣。
我在读中环节,先是
( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )呈现问题,跟同学们一起大声朗读问题,目的是让同学们带着任务去阅读短文,考虑到班上很多基础差的同学并不能明白具体要做什么,我请英语学和技能较高的学生把问题翻译成了汉语,这样所有同学都明白了学习的任务,神气清爽地迈出阅读第一步,去获取文中的信息。在阅读的过程中,我又注意到:有些同学采用默读的方式,有些同学采用大声朗读的方式,我并没有刻意要求学生遵循阅读课的统一阅读模式——读中环节默读方式。我注意到了学生的学情差异,英语学和技能较低的学生,如果在一开始接触阅读的时候,就必须采用默读的方式,恐怕将扼杀学生阅读的兴趣。不管是朗读还是默读,只有读懂才能让学生有信心读下去,所以我选择尊重学生的阅读方式,喜欢怎么读就怎么读。书读百遍,其义自现。教学有法,但无定法,没有哪一种教学模式是最好的,但是依据学生学情的教学必然是有效的,必然能激发学生学习的欲望。
