MODULE 1 AGE
Unit 1 Dim's Age (the second Period)
一、教学内容：
Work with language and Fun with language
二、教学目标：
a.能听懂会说本课的会话。
b.能听说认读本课主要单词：secret , teenager , baby , child , person , sing　
c.学会运用Her/His name is…
He/She looks old/young/…
He/She is about …years old.
He/She is …now.要求表达准确，语调自然。
三、教学重、难点：
1、重点：
a. Can identify the people in different ages.
b. Can pronounce the other people's name fluently and correctly. (e.g. Fred...)
c. Understand and can use the sentence structure to ask people’s age.
2、难点：
Can use the "How old ... " sentence structure correctly and fluently.
四、教具：图片、实物、录音机、ppt课件。
五、教学过程：
（一）Warming up
Show some pictures of the famous persons and ask the children to talk about them. And for the teacher, try to induce the children to use “Who’s … Who are … How old… ” and to ask questions about the pictures.
（二）Presentation：
Show some pictures and introduction: This is a child/baby/teenager/…(learn the new words)
Teach people’s names and the present-tense
His /her name is…
What is she/he doing (板书)
She/he’s …v-ing.
（三）Practice
1. Practice by groups : One group say “do”, the other say “doing”; one group say “skip”, the other say “skipping”…
2. Play a guessing game: One pupil come to the blackboard to do the action (Look at the paper that the teacher gives, such as: doing housework ,skipping ,singing and so on), anther pupil guessing the words and describing him\her with the sentences:
Who is he/she His\Her name is …
What is he/she doing He \She is…now.
（在做这个问答练习时，如果学困生答不出来，可以由他自己指定其他同学教他回答，然后再重复一次答案。在加分栏里，学困生所在组加一分，“小老师”所在组加两分。）
3. Get the pupils open the books and read the sentences.
4. Do the exercises on the Exercise Book.
