Unit 5 Janet Goes to the Doctor’s
一、教学内容分析：
本单元主要教学内容为《Unit 5 Janet Goes to the Doctor’s》。其中包括：Dialogue，Sound Families，Work with Language，Fun with Language几部分内容。 所谈论的话题是围绕在Janet看病过程中，和doctor、Mrs. Webb谈及她的身体状况的话题。所运用的句型涉及了第三人称单数时时态的运用。例如：Janet doesn’t feel good this morning. But Janet looks very pale and tired today, Doctor. 本单元和日常生活的作息及饮食有很大联系，所以在教学过程当中可以通过联系实际情况来进行教学。

通过运用CAI软件，逐步呈现单词、词组、句型、课文、练习。让学生们
通过看图片去学习新词。
四、教学重难点
重点：本单元的四会词汇及句型的理解与运用。
难点：单词的认读及拼写。如：medicine，headache等。

六、教学过程
Revision：
Show some cards about the words of Unit 4, review the words.
Sing the song ‘An Apple a Day’.
Show some pictures of the sick people. Let the pupils say what’s wrong with them.
Presentation and practice
Show the picture of Janet and doctor. Learn the new words of pale\ checkup.
Show the CAI of the dialogue.
Show the CAI of Part 1: form the beginning to ‘I don’t eat my fruit. I don’t like it much’.
Q1: What’s the matter with Janet
Q2: How much fruit does Janet eat every day
Show Part 2: from ‘OK. Do you eat a lot of vegetable, Janet ’ to I don’t eat my vegetables.

Q1: Does Janet walk a lot every day

7. Read the dialogue.

1. Let the children listen to the dialogue for two times and then finish the form.
