Unit 7 Is Yongxian’s new school larger?第一课时
分析教学内容:
UNIT 7 主要是掌握形容词和副词的比较级。能描述人或物两者之间的比较。能熟练使用The new school is larger than the old one . Is the …larger than …?The library has more books than the old one. There are more pupils in your school than in ours.等句型。另外还要掌握千位数字表示法:There are about one thousand and eighty pupils this term. 及Do you still … 等语言知识。其中Dialogue , Work with language 为教学重点。形容词及副词比较级是本册书的重要语法知识之一,也将为后面的最高级打好基础。
教学对象分析:
对语法知识的理解一向是学生的一个难点,但只要由浅入深,把难点分层,学生还是可以掌握的。学生在前面的内容中已初步接触过older, thinner, later 等比较级,学习了She’s one year older than me . Jiamin looks thinner now than before. 等句子。故在这基础上学习形容词和副词的比较级难度不大。只要老师善于启发点拨,学生便能在原来的基础上顺利掌握新知识。教师可通过创设真实的语言情景、简笔画、真人实物之间的对比,让学生学得自然主动,从而达到教学目的。
教学目标:
语言知识:To learn to make comparisons.
To foster and develop the ability of observing and comparing.
To learn to invite others to do something.
To learn to give comments on things.
To develop the ability of cohesive description.
语言技能: (1)掌握单词:large, international, needn’t, more, more than, bright, pupil, thousand, ours, his, hers, better, theirs
(2)能正确理解对话内容,流利朗读,表演课文。并能熟练运用对话中的每个句型。
教学策略:根据学生掌握知识的规律,从浅入手,层层深入。 先学习形容词、副词的比较级,然后学习带有比较级的句子,再学习对话内容,并通过情景对话、简笔画、真人实物的对比等,激发学生兴趣并逐步掌握知识点。
文化意识:懂得待人真诚,有礼交往,热爱学习,热爱学校。
教学媒体:光盘、图片、实物等。
教学步骤:
1 .Revision :竞赛看哪一组同学说的形容词和副词多。Tall, big, large, low, small, bright, weak, old, fast…
2 .Presentation.
简笔画或实物引入学习形容词和副词的比较级
例如:tall—taller big—bigger large—larger
old—older cheap—cheaper weak—weaker …
小结形容词副词的比较级构词法
Finish Ex 1 on p.33
情景学习句子: …is…than…. 例:就用学生的学习用品作比较 Liming’s ruler is longer than his. Xiaoling’bag is heavier than hers. …
学生利用身边的实物操练本句型。(再用课件操练。)
Finish Ex2 on P33: Design schools and compare them. (小组进行)

教学内容
这节课学习的内容是Module3 Unit7,Work with Language1、2,主要是巩固形容词比较级的基本句型。同时,学生在这节课会接触到名词性物主代词,并结合比较级使用。
教学目标
1. 语言知识
a. 能正确拼、读以下词汇: bigger, smaller, longer, shorter, fatter, thinner, stronger, his, hers, theirs
b.重点句型:
A is …-er than B.
My pen is longer than yours.
His dog is fatter than hers.
2. 语言技能
a. 能用重点句型参与游戏、活动。
b. 能chant英语小诗 good, better, best
能运用所学句型进行对话、比较。
3. 情感态度
在词汇、句子学习中增强学习英语的兴趣和参与热情,逐步养成良好的学习习惯。让学生真正成为学习的主体,主动学习。
4. 学习策略
通过交际性操练,让学生更深刻体会交际运用对语言学习的重要性,并积极、主动与他人合作,运用英语于交际中。
教学策略
TBL(任务型教学):以任务为主导,以活动为载体,以学生为中心,通过完成特定的交际活动促使学生语言交际能力的发展。
创设情景,设计多样化的游戏,用游戏突破重难点,让绝大部分学生开口练习。

重点:1.部分形容词的拼读
2.基本句型:A is …-er than B.
3.理解名词性物主代词his, hers, theirs,并能在实际语境中进行比较
难点:1.形容词物主代词和名词性物主代词的区别
2.两种物主代词同时存在的一个句子的时候,如何就两事物进行对比
