教学过程：
1. leading-in
1) chant: 根据上节课的内容进行
2）fast responding: 学生根据老师的提示和课件，以最快的速度说出形容词和副词的最高级和比较级，同时让学生总结出规律：如big- biggest
2. Presentation
1) Show the title and tell the aim of this Unit
T: What are the biggest animals in the world
S: Blue whales.
T: What are the biggest animals on land
S: Elephants.
T: What animals run fastest Guess
播放一段关于描写cheetah, leopard的短片，让学生初步了解所学的内容并引出新单词leopard, kilometer, cheetah
2) 学习和操练新单词，并注意发音
3）present the dialogue
(1). Watch the video of the dialogue for two times and catch the main idea of it.
(2). Answer the questions:
What is Ben doing
Does he think the horse run fastest Is he right
What animals run fastest
How fast can a cheetah run
What does a cheetah look like

3）学习一些字母和字母组合的发音规律，能运用读音规则拼读部分简单的单词。

1) Chant: Four Blue Whales
2) Free talk
2. Pre-task
(1) Play a game
T: big ,P1: bigger ,P2:biggest (让学生分组比赛看那一组说得多，说得对，然后分组板书这些词)

long--- easy--- nice--- many---
(2) Ask the students to find out the changing rules of these comparisons.
(3) Talk about some pictures. (实物投影,有 buildings, rulers, apples…)
T: Which buildings is taller, building A or building B
P1: Building B is taller than building A.
T: Which is the tallest, building A, building B or building C
P2: Building C is the tallest.
