Module 2 Diaries Unit 6 Let’s Go Further
Story Time
一、学生分析
六年级的学生对英文学习具有一定的听说.阅读.表达能力及自学能力,而且通过平常的课堂操练,能较好地与同学进行合作性学习。在第四、五单元中,学生已经学习了如何用过去时写日记,了解种树和救树。学生会更有兴趣去了解一些关于植物的知识或者故事。
二、教学内容分析
本模块的话题是diaries(日记),本课的内容包括了Story Time的故事,和Did You Know部分。通过学习,让学生初步了解英语故事的结构,及一些英语故事表达的常用语。懂得如何用英语的过去式来讲故事、看图利用提示词复述或写简单的英语故事。理解与植物有关的文章。增强环保意识。
三、教学目标
(一)语言知识目标
1.“三会”掌握Story Time中的词汇:Bean, shout, beanstalk, throw… out of …
2.理解Story Time : Five Beans的故事内容。
3.理解Did You Know 提及的植物的情况。
4.通过不同故事的阅读,初步了解用英语讲故事的框架。
(二)语言技能目标
1.通过阅读,能理解、复述故事的主要内容。
2.能用英语讲故事。
3. 学生能看图有条理运用提示词进行连续性地说话。
(三)学习策略目标
1.通过语言交际性训练,提高语言表达能力、思维能力和想象力。
2. 鼓励学生积极参与课堂的互动,巩固所学知识,主动练习所学的内容,大胆思考用英语回答问题。
3.学会借助插图或提示词理解故事或自编故事。
4.在小组活动的过程中培养合作能力。
(四)情感态度目标
通过学习继续增强学习英语的兴趣,树立正确的学习目的,养成良好的学习习惯。
(五)文化意识目标
通过本课学习故事,懂得道理。懂得更多关于植物的知识。

七、教学过程
(一)热身与复习
1.问候: What’s the date today
What’s the date before yesterday
2.唱歌“The tree in the Park”与小诗P18
3.背诵课文内容:第五课。分角色背。
(设计意图:复习歌曲与小诗,给学生创设一个欢松愉快的氛围;背诵课文能唤起学生对课文内容的记忆)
(二) 呈现与操练
1.学习Did You Know
在Unit 4-5的课文学习中,我们了解了一些简单的植树的步骤,也对植物有初步的认识。今天让我们来了解更多关于植物的知识。
(1)竞赛:.给学生3分钟的时间阅读P27,然后完成以下的判断题:
( ) 1. All plants grow on land.
( ) 2. We can see some plants with our eyes.
( ) 3. Some kinds of the plants have no flowers and some have no fruits.
( ) 4. People and animals can’t live without plants.
( ) 5. We needn’t to breathe the oxygen(氧气) every minute.
(2)再给一分钟时间让学生看文章一次,然后回答两个问题:
When did the first plant appear in the ocean
How many species of higher plants do plant scientists know
(设计意图:通过快速阅读的方式,训练学生的阅读能力。)
2.学习Story Time
刚才我们知道地球上的一切生命都离不开氧气,而氧气又离不开植物。所以我们更要植树护林,保障我们的生存之本。下面我们学习一个关于植物的故事。
( 1 )看课件,了解故事内容。
(2)听故事一次,回答问题:

B.Did Jack get more money when the old man buys his cow

( 3) 小组合作:根据故事内容,重排下列句子。

( 4 ) 小组合作:找出故事的架构:

(6)小组讨论故事的寓意:善有善报。
(设计意图:通过不同的教学手段来呈现故事内容,在引导学生理解故事内容的同时对故事的架构有初步的了解;让学生看提示词来复述故事,能更好地培养学生的口头表达能力,还能让学生从中得到教育。)
(三) 拓展与运用
拓展一:听力练习:(附听力材料)
拓展二:读故事,选择问题的正确答案(附故事内容)
拓展三:读故事,用自己的语言复述故事。
(设计意图:通过层层深入的拓展活动,进一步提高学生的听说读的能力)
(四)布置作业:
1.回家口头复述故事“Five Beans”。
2.查找更多同类的故事,与同学分享。
3.完成阅读练习后复述故事“ An Honest Boy”。(选做)
4.自编一个类似的故事(选做)
(设计意图:分层的课后练习,让不同的学生有不同的发展空间。)

九、教学反思:
本课时的教学任务包括听说读写,让学生能得到很好的训练。通过速读与精读的两种方式培养学生的阅读能力;在复述故事方面能较好的学生的口头表达能力。本课安排的内容较多,在教学过程中各环节必须紧凑才可以完成教学内容。

Long long ago, there lived an old king. He’s very kind and funny. He loved his people and the people loved him. But the old king had no sons. He was worried about this.
One day, the old king called all the boys to meet him, and gave a flower seed to each boy. “One month later, who can plant a beautiful flower with this seed, then he will be my son.” He said to every boy. Every boys were happy.
One little boy was very happy too. He came back home at once(立刻). First he dug a hole in a pot, then put the flower seed into the hole and filled the hole with earth. After that he carried water for it. Every morning he watered the seed. A week later, he could not see anything. Two weeks later, he could not find any changes yet. But he didn’t give up(放弃). He waited and waited. ..
One month later, he could not see the shoots appeared. He had to take the pot to visit the old king. The old king was sad when he saw the boys carried the flowers with pots to come. But when he saw this little boy without flowers, he was very excited. He said to him gentle, “You’re my son! My honest son! The seeds were boiled!”
