一、教学内容分析
Unit 15 let’s go further & Project & Did you know 在Module 5 Hopes and Fantasies是最后一个课时,属于知识拓展课。在Unit 13和Unit 14中,学生都已经能够用正确的句型I hope….,I wish I could….(包括第三人称单数的用法),说出自己的希望和幻想;并且学生在四年级也已经学习过What do you want to be when you grow up I want to be a.... 因此本课的教学,是在复习重现旧知识的基础上,着重开拓学生的英语思维、拓展学生运用语言的综合能力。
二、教学对象分析
本节课的教学对象是六年级学生,想象丰富,乐于表达。他们在之前的学习中已经掌握了I hope…., I wish I could….等主要句型,动词过去式,并且具备一定的阅读能力和写作能力,但是,要综合运用所学的知识编写想象文章,对于六年级学生仍有一定困难。我会创设情景唤起学生对旧有知识的记忆,设计一些活动激发学生的想象力,让学生自主选择题材,通过小组合作学习,完成短文的写作。
三、教学目标
(一)语言知识目标
1.“两会”掌握单词:
rocket ,planet,Mercure,venus,Earth,Mars,Jupiter,Saturn,Uranus,Neptune ,naked。
2.能说出相关动词的过去式。
3.能正确运用句子:I hope…., I wish I could…. 写短文。
(二)语言技能目标
1.能比较流利地朗读课文。
2.能读懂课文对话,并正确填写对话所缺的单词。
3.能理解、复述Story Time中的内容。
4.能发挥想象编故事。
5.能用正确的句子写故事。
(三)学习策略目标
1.能够借助图片复述故事,提高认读对话能力。
2.鼓励学生积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务。
3.鼓励学生充分发挥想象力,积极运用所学英语知识,编写故事。
(四)情感态度目标
1.通过小组合作活动,培养学生的合作意识。
2.激发学生学习英语的兴趣、培养他们的口语表达能力,增强他们写作的自信心。
(五)文化意识目标
学习西方文化,也要把中国的传统文化传播给世界。
四、教学重点与难点
重点:理解Story time 的内容。
难点:
1.复述Story time中的内容。
2.发挥想象力,正确运用所学的句型编写故事。
五、教学策略
1.借助图片、多媒体等呈现课文,让学生易于理解故事内容。
2.设计一些活动激发学生的想象力,通过小组合作学习,完成短文的写作。
六、教学准备材料:
图片、阅读材料、录音机。
七、教学过程
(一)热身
1.Sing the song 《Oh, I Wish I Could fly》。
2. Read the Rhyme: I hope I have a bike,
I hope I can ride it where I like.
I wish I could fly,
I wish I could fly high in the sky.
3.复习动词过去式。
(dream-dreamed,have-had,say-said,can-could,shout-shouted,get-got,walk-walked,
see-saw, try-tried)
4.口头用I hope I can … 和I wish I could….造句。
(二)呈现与操练
1.让学生完成 Project exercise 1 、Talk in groups about your wishes following the model. (I wish I could get to the top of Mount Qomolangma. (同位名)xxx wishes he could travel to the moon.) 目的让学生操练I wish I could….此句型一般现在时的第三人称单数用法。
2.用一张rocket的图片引出故事,看金太阳并回答问题。Show the picture and ask: What’s this Ps: It’s a rocket. T: One day Ben dreamed he had a rocket. He was talking with Janet in the dream. Watch and listen to the story, and then answer the questions. 1) Where did Ben get to in his dream 2) What did Ben and Janet see in his dream 3) What did Ben wish at last
3. Listen and read the story.
4.看故事图片,鼓励学生复述故事。
5.用适当的字母填空,使故事完整。

7.学生了解planets后,让学生完成Project exercise 2 .
T: Do you wish to travel to some of these planets Tim and Ann walk on the planet and saw many strange buildings. Let’s look at the pictures and read the sentences . Then make up a story in groups.
8. Ask the pupils to act out their story in their groups.

总结本节课所学的内容。
(四)发展
1) 阅读短文,根据短文内容,从A,B,C,D四个选项中选择正确的一项完成句子。

My future

And my parents believe that reading can lead to success. So I admire the writers in the books very much. I want to be the same as them.
I also hope I can be a teacher. I wish I could teach all the pupils in the world. I think teacher is a very important job. But, to be a teacher, it needs much knowledge. And also teachers must be able to manage most of problems in the class. People always say,” teaching is a terrible and hard job." But I think teaching is very holy.
In one word, I want to do something useful to my country in return.
