2. Have a try to write a formal letter to a supermarket to state your opinion on GM food. Dear Mr. Brown,
I’m writing to ask whether your supermarket plan to sell GM food. I’m totally against GM food.
Not long ago, a pet mouse of a teenager in Manchester died after eating biscuits which were made with GM products. Besides, scientists admit that few tests have been performed on GM food, that is to say, eating GM food may lead to some unpredictablediseases. Also, according to a latest survey, GM food can be worse for environment and most UK people refused to grow and eat GM food. Therefore, your supermarket will not benefit from selling GM food.
To sum up, until GM food can be proved safe and environmentally friendly, it can not be sold.
Yours sincerely,
Jim DavidsonThank you!
