定冠词the
冠词是一种虚词，本身不能单独使用，也没有词义，它用在名词的前面，（相当于名词的帽子）帮助指明名词的含义。

英语中的冠词一共有三个：
不定冠词a/an
定冠词the
不定冠词”a” “an”
"a"用于辅音发音开头的词前, 如：
a book, a hotel, a knife
"an"an 用于元音发音开头的词前，如：
an apple, an hour, an honour, an honest boy, an umbrella
判断一个词是以元音开头还是以辅音开头，是根据读音而不是根据字母!

不定冠词的基本用法 例句
用在可数名词单数前表示“一个/张…” Linda will go to
Beijing in a month.
2) 用在数词前 I have two mobile phones,
but I want to buy a third
one.
4)表示一类人或物 An elephant is stronger
than a horse.
5) 在表示价格、速度、频率 等名词前表示“每(个)” Beibei goes to the
library once a week.
6) 某些习惯用法 go for a long walk

We often use a or an in front of a singular,
countable noun when we mention it for the first
time. Then we use the before the noun when we
mention it again.
We also use the to talk about something that is the only one of its kind.

a.定冠词the在元音音素前发/Qi:/或 /Qi/ ；在辅音音素前发/QR/。判断一个单词是以元音开头还是以辅音开头，应根据音标而不是元音字母 a, e, i, o, u。
b. 同时，不定冠词a和an的发音也遵循这条规则，即a用在以辅音音素开头的单词前，读作/R/，只有强调时才读作/eI/。 an用在以元音音素开头的单词前，一般读作/Rn/，只有强调时才读作/Cn/ 。
定冠词的基本用法 例句
