Preparation: Tape recorder, photos, word cards, ppt.
Teaching procedures
Ⅰ. Warm- up
a. Give the students some words of two groups and ask them to match them. They can do it in groups.

b. After discussing they can show their answers in the front.
c. Please give the past form of the phrases above, and after discussing in groups we will check it together.

Ⅱ. Presentation
a. Read the past form of the following:

b. Try to finish the following paragraph with the phrases above:

c. Listen to the tape and let them check their answers.
d. Listen again and try to finish the whole passage.
Ⅲ．New teaching
a. Group reading and try to know what it is talking about.

c. Listen again and try to fill in the blanks without referring to the books. Each group will get four chances and then we can decide which team is the winner.
Ⅳ. Practice
Try to use the following words to finish a short passage and then come to the front to read them out. They can do it in groups.
