I am taller形容词的比较级和最高级 1) 单音节形容词的比较级和最高级形式是在词
尾加-er 和-est 构成。
eg: great (原级) greater(比较级)
greatest(最高级)
short(原级) shorter(比较级)
shortest(最高级) 2) 以 -e 结尾的单音节形容词的比较级和最
高级是在词尾加 -r 和 -st 构成。
eg: nice(原级) nicer(比较级) nicest (最高级)
wide(原级) wider(比较级) widest(最高级)
3) 在以辅音字母+y结尾的形容词后，先改y
为i再加-er，-est
eg: happy (原级) happier (比较级)
happiest (最高级)
4) 重读闭音节词只有一个辅音字母时，先双
写辅音字母再加-er，-est。
eg: hot (原形) hotter (比较级) hottest (最高级)
5) 部分双音节词及多音节词，在此的前面加
more，most。
eg: beautiful (原级) more beautiful (比较级)
most beautiful (最高级)
注：1)形容词加ly变成的副词的比较级和最高级
用more或most.
eg: happily →more happily, most happily2)由动词加ful变成的形容词，变比较级和最高级加more, most.
eg：helpful →more helpful, most helpful
careful →more careful, most careful
cheerful →more cheerful, most cheerful

一般跟可数名词的复数形式，如
tables和 apples等。
eg:
How many girls are there in your class?
你们班上有多少名女孩？How much: 用来问不可数事物的数量，后面一
般跟不可数名词，如 water和
time等。

你需要多少水？

。Who was the shortest?谁最矮？

who在这里指问“谁”。
eg：--Who is this? 这是谁？
