1. would like sth. / would like to do sth. / would like sb. to do sth.
想要… / 想做某事 / 想让某人做某事

I’d like you to come to my house and have dinner with me. 我想让你来我家和我一块儿吃午饭.
2. 辨析join与take part in…
join加入的多为某个组织或团体，加入后成为其中一名成员(member)；而take part in加入的多为某项活动。
e.g. I hope that you can join us / the chess club.
I’m proud that I have joined the CCP / the League / the army.
He has decided to take part in the sports meeting this autumn.
The teacher advises me to take part in the discussion / the English contest / the game.
3. seem ( to sb ) to do sth.
It seems / seemed ( to sb ) that…
e.g. She seems ( to me ) to be right. 她似乎是对的.
→It seems ( to me ) that she is right.
I can’t seem to stop coughing. 我的咳嗽好象止不住了
→It seems that I can’t stop coughing.
What did you have for breakfast / lunch / supper 你早饭/午饭/晚饭吃什么
I had … for breakfast / lunch / supper. 我吃…
3、 语法
不定式( to do 或do)与动名词( doing )作宾语或宾语补足语
第一类：只能加不定式to do作宾语的动词
want / decide / agree / hope / wish / would like to do sth.
另外有些动词还可将不定式to do作宾语补足语，运用于下面的结构：
tell / ask / want / encourage / warn / wish / would like sb to do sth.
注意否定：tell / ask / warn / wish sb not to do sth.
第二类：只能加不定式do作宾语补足语的动词
使役动词let / make / have sb. do sth.
第三类：只能加动名词doing作宾语的动词
enjoy / practice / finish / mind / keep doing sth.
补充：keep sb.doing sth.
第四类：既能加to do又能加doing作宾语且意思相近的动词
like / love / hate / begin / start / continue to do sth. 或
like / love / hate / begin / start / continue doing sth.
第五类：既能加不定式do又能加doing作宾补但强调重点不同的动词
感官动词see / hear / listen to / watch / notice / feel sb. do sth.
这里强调看见或听见动作的全过程。
see / hear / listen to / watch / notice / feel sb. doing sth.
这里强调看见或听见动作正在发生。
第六类：既能加to do又能加doing作宾语但意思完全不同的动词
1). remember
remember to do sth. 记着去做某事 ( 此事还没做 )
e.g. Please remember to turn off the lights before you go out. 请记着走之前关灯.
Remember to lock the door. 记着锁门.
remember doing sth. 记着做过某事( 此事已经做过 )
e.g. I remember posting the letter. But they haven’t received it.
我记着把信寄出去了, 但是他们还没收到.
When I was about four or five years old, I remember sitting close to the radio and listening to my favorite programmes.
我记得自己在四五岁的时候, 紧紧地做在客厅的收音机旁, 听我最喜欢的节目.
2). forget
forget to do sth. 忘记去做某事 ( 此事还没做 )
e.g. Don’t forget to feed the cat. 别忘了喂猫.
He forgot to pay me. 他忘了付我钱.
forget doing sth. 忘记做过某事 ( 此事已经做过 )
e.g. I’ll never forget seeing you for the first time. 我永远不会忘记第一次见到你的情景.
3). stop
stop to do sth. 停下来去做某事
e.g. I’m tired. Let’s stop to have a rest. 我累了, 咱们停下来休息一下.
stop doing sth. 停止做某事
e.g. Stop talking. Let’s start our lesson. 不要讲话了, 开始上课了.
4). try
try to do sth. 尽力做某事 / try not to do sth. 尽力不要做某事
e.g. Try to be here on time. 尽量准时到.
I tried not to laugh. 我忍着不笑.
try doing sth. 尝试做某事
Try phoning his home number. 给他家打个电话试试.
Have you ever tried surfing 你尝试过冲浪吗
5). need
need to do sth. 需要做某事
e.g. He needs to work harder. 他需要更加努力工作.
need doing sth. 某事需要被做
The car needs repairing. 这辆车需要修理.
My jacket needs changing. 我的夹克需要换一下.
6). learn
learn ( how) to do sth. 学做某事
e.g. I’m learning ( how ) to swim. 我已经学会游泳了.
特殊疑问词+不定式( to do )
（注意：1. 运用此结构的句子中，句子的主语与不定式的逻辑主语往往是一致的，且它常与宾语从句进行转化。
2. 这个结构表达的多为将来的内容。）
e.g. I don’t know what to do.
→（宾语从句）I don’t know what I should do.
He wonders how to do it.
→（宾语从句）He wonders how he should do it.
You haven’t told me where to go.
→（宾语从句）You haven’t told me where you will go.
He hasn’t decided when to start his plan.
→（宾语从句）He hasn’t decided when he will start his plan.
Lily didn’t know which skirt to buy.
→（宾语从句）Lily didn’t know which skirt she would buy.
