Unit 6 The Noisy Band
一、教育目标:
1. 通过学习课文及阅读故事,培养学生广泛的兴趣爱好。
2. 教育学生学会尊重别人,娱乐活动时不要影响他人。
二、教学目标:
基本要求:
1. 学习表示乐器的名词:guitar, piano, drum, violin, triangle.
动词:knock, stop.
形容词:terrible.
2. 能口头、书面默出单词。
3. 并能与学过的词整合起来表达一定的意义。
4. 句型:
A. 能用所学的句型根据图片或教师创设的情景表演对话。
B. 能把相关词与Grand Theatre 整和起来。
C. 做阅读练习。
D. 学习Grand Theatre:The Noisy Band的语篇。
E. 学习Wonderland, Farmland,与它拓展出的情景整合,变成新的语言材料。
F. 表演对话。
5. 听懂、读懂Q and A, 做书面、口头回答。
6. 练习朗读Music Box中内容,掌握/ /, / / 的读音。
7. 诵读Rhyme: The Clock。
发展要求:
1. 能听音以后在下列单词中填入字母yell_ _, h _ _ 等。
2. 能把所学的词或词组与The Noisy Bank整合组成新的语言材料后实际运用。
3. 独立阅读理解Kid’s Palace中的Story并完成练习。
4. 把Rhyme与学过的内容整合,形成另外一首儿歌。
三、Main aims:
句型:Who is doing sth.
A. 能用所学的句型根据图片或教师创设的情景表演对话。
B. 能把相关词与Grand Theatre整合起来。
C. 做阅读练习。
四、Difficult aims:
能把相关词与Grand Theatre,句型,整合起来,自编对话进行练习。
五、Material requires
tape recorder, pictures, cards
六、Teaching plans:
Five Periods
The 1st Period
Teaching aims:
1.学习表示乐器的名词:guitar, piano, violin, drum, triangle,
动词:knock, stop
形容词:terrible能口头、书面默出并用这些单词造句。
2.学习句型:Who is doing sth.
Teaching procedure:
一、Warm up:
Rhyme: The Clock (listen to the tape)
二、New teach:
(In the musical room)
Words:
1. Show some musical instruments to the students and ask:
What are these How to say in English
What’s your favourite instrument …etc.
2. Talking about these instruments in a group.
3. Show the new words: guitar, piano, violin, drum, triangle
4. Spell the new words.
5. Game: What instrument is it (Guess and spell.)
Patterns:
1. Have a student play the instrument. And ask and answer:
Who is playing…
2. Make up sentences with these words.
3. Learn the words: knock, stop, terrible in the sentences.
4. Ask and answer in pairs.
5. Listen to the tape. The students listen and follow in their books.
三、Practise:
1. Read the words and sentences by yourself.
2. Say and act.
3. Game “What’s playing … ”
四、Assignment:
Copy the new words and sentences.
五、On board:

The 2nd Period
Teaching aims:
1.熟练运用句型:
Who is playing …
2.学习词组:play the violin/ piano, play basketball/football, read books/ papers/ magazines, walk a dog
3.能用所学的词组和句型根据图片情景表演对话。
Teaching procedure:
一、Warm up:
Rhyme: The Clock
Read after the tape.
二、Review:
1. Words about instruments: Can you ... .
2. Show the words: knock, stop, play, read, walk and make sentences with them.
3. Act the mini dialogue.
三、New teach:
1. Have the students look at the pictures at page 43 and say sth. about in a group.
2. Say and act.
3. Learn these phrases: play the piano/ violin / guitar
play basketball/ football
read books/ papers/ magazines
walk a dog …etc.
4. Ask and answer in the groups.
四、Practise:
1. Ask and answer: Who is doing …
2. Finish the exercise-book p44 ~ 45
五、Assignment:
Copy the new phrases and make some sentences.

The 3rd Period
Teaching aims:
Learning: Grand Theatre
Teaching procedure:
一、Warm up:
Rhyme: The Clock
二、Review:
1. Words and phrases.
2. Make sentences one by one.
3. Ask and answer in pairs.
三、New teach:
(Some students have got musical instruments.)
1. T: Look, this is a band. There are some instruments in your hands. Guitar, piano, drum …. They love pop music but they are not good musicians. They make terrible noise. And Dad can’t read. So they go to the backyard.
2. Learn the new words and the phrase: backyard, pop music
3. The Noisy Band: Listen to the tape.
4. Listen again and then answer some questions:
Is Tom making a terrible noise
What are Tom and Alice doing
Who is playing the piano
Can Alice play the guitar
…etc.
5. Open your books and read the text oneself.
四、Practise:
1. Read the test after the tape.
2. Act the “Grand Theatre”.
3. Finish the exercise book P46 .
五、Assignment :
1. Read the text and repeat it.
2. Copy the new words and phrases.
六、On board:

The 4th Period
Teaching aims:
1. 能把相关词与Grand Theatre 整合起来,做阅读练习。
2. 听懂、读懂Q and A, On your own做书面、口头回答。
Teaching procedure:
一、Warming-up:
Rhyme: The Clock
二、Review:
1. Act out the dialogue with your patterns.
2. Dictation the new words and phrases.
三、New teach:
1. Finish “Questions and answers”
Is Tom making a terrible noise
What Tom and Alice doing
Who is playing the piano
Can Alice play the guitar
A)On the students own.
B)Communion in the class.
2. Finish “On your own” on the same way.

1. Read the dialogue.
2. Act out it with the partners.
三、New teach:
1. Music Box
Read the phonetics and the words after the tape.
