Unit Four What Makes the Weather (Wonderland)
一、教育目标:
1.培养学生热爱祖国的大好河山。
2.了解一些天文地理知识以及太阳对人类的重要性。
二、知识目标:
[一]基础目标:
1.学习本单元单词a kind of ,shine ,earth ,comfortable,heat,seem,become, raindrop
2.掌握一般现在时与现在进行时句型及功能。
3.听说和阅读理解Grand Theatre中的语言材料并能复述。
4.掌握元音音标
[二]发展目标:
1.能灵活运用一般现在时和现在进行时。
2.能用英语描述不同气候的天气情况。
三、能力目标:
能运用不同的时态(一般现在时,现在进行时,一般过去时,一般将来时)正确运用动词的适当形式完成句子。
四、情感,策略和文化等目标:
1.情感态度:培养学生了解大自然,热爱大自然,热爱生活的情操。
2.学习策略:培养学生注意观察天气变化,懂得气象知识,并了解大自然对我们的学习,工作,生活密切相关。
3.文化目标:培养学生收听英语气象预报的习惯,并能用英语描述不同的天气情况。

Student’s Book5B p23-29. Student’s Work Book P26-34
六、教学时间:
七课时{其中5课时新授,2课时练习和复习及完成练习册随教学进度完成。
Lesson Plan {1}: Wonderland
I. Pre-task preparation:
1. Daily Talk (weather, school life, hobbies, families and so on.)
2. Ask two students to come to the front and talk about some topics.
II While-task procedure:
1. Learn the new words (shine, earth, comfortable, heat, seem, become, raindrop, a kind of) while talking about the weather and other things.
2. T: Today is fine. The sun shines. It’s warm .I feel comfortable. Why do we feel warm in the sunshine Because our earth always goes around the sun. and the sun gives us heat.
3. Learn some other new words by talking about something.
T: Sometimes the weather changes. It looks very dark. It begins to rain. Raindrops are running down the ground…
4. Write the phonetic symbols of the new words on the board. Ask the students to read them out.
5. Play the cassette: Wonderland. Students listen and follow with their books open.
6. Play the cassette again. Students listen and repeat.
7. Let the students ask questions about the new words.
8. Read the new words and the sentences in groups of four. Pay attention to the pronunciation. Try to remember the meanings of the new words and sentences.
III. Post-task activities
1. Ask the students to remember the new words as soon as possible.
2. Divide the students into groups of four. Ask them to make sentences with the new words, the more the better.
3. Ask individuals to say the sentences they have made.
