Learning Strategies学习策略：创设多种形式的学习活动，为学生营造语言环境，学生在模拟真实的情景中进行小组讨论、同伴合作学习，增加信息量，提高语言的综合运用能力。5. Culture Awareness文化意识：通过学习中外体育明星擅长的运动项目，了解中西方的体育文化。

Ⅰ.Warming up Activity 1：Sing a songActivity 2：Get each animal group chant their name and sports Activity 1：Sing a song with action.Activity 2：Each animal group chant their name and sports:e.g.: Fish, fish, swimming. I’m good at swimming. 1. 通过歌曲热身，并且复习了一些运动和副词。2. 用chant形式进行热身，激发学生的学习热情，活跃课堂学习气氛。
Ⅱ.Revision Activity 3：To consolidate the names of sports.Activity4：To consolidate verbs and adverbs, the expression is “He is running fast.” Activity 3：Please look at the pictures and name the sports.Activity4：Look at the picture and the adverbs on the screen, and say: He’s running fast. 3. 用幻灯片呈现的运动项目图片复习和巩固运动名词，起到生动、直观的作用，增进情趣，提高学习兴趣。4. 检测学生能否在句中正确运用副词。而且还帮助慢生复习这方面的知识点。

T （face to a pupil ）: Are you good at running or jumping S1: I’m good at jumping. 3）Play a guessing game. 4） Practice to talk about sport stars by using the new drills.5） Check and assessment. Activity6: A new sentence pattern What’s your favorite sport？Are you good at … ①T：I like eating bananas. My favorite fruit is bananas. I like reading. Reading is my hobby. I like playing badminton. My favorite sport is playing badminton. ②T: What’s your favorite sport, Horse Are you good at … Two models for the Pls. And get them practice.③Check and assessment 5.1） The Ss chant the rhyme.2） Learn the new sentence pattern, practice to ask and answer in different groups. 3） Look at the pictures of the sports stars on and guess: Is she good at swimming or diving 4） Ss talk about the sport stars they like in groups. 5） Feedback.Activity 6：A new sentence pattern①Listen to the teacher and comprehend the word “favorite” ②one animal group ask the other group: What’s your favorite sport, Horse Are good at … ③Feedback. 5. 1）由学生自己扮演的动物来回答所擅长的运动，能够整体感知新语言知识，帮助学生准确运用语言。2）在游戏中操练新句型，增强语言知识学习的趣味性。3）学生之间用新旧句子去谈论自己收集的体育明星的事迹，使语言学习在学中用，用中学。6. 由学生熟悉的句子I like … . 以及hobby导入新知识，利于学生理解。通过表演操练巩固句型，激发学生的学习兴趣和积极参与意识。以4人小组的形式操练，培养学生的合作意识，可以帮助学习较慢的学生能学有所得，消除不敢说的顾虑。

V. Development Activity 8：1）Look at these activities on P38 and talk in pairs.2）Check the answers by listening to some pairs and assessment3）Show some pictures and say: There are many clubs Holiday School. Look! What clubs do they have （Ss count the clubs one by one）T makes a model with a pupil. Then get the Ss discuss in groups 4） After the discussing, the Ss are ready to go and join the club that they like. 5） T: Now, let’s see what clubs are you in Why Activity 81） Pair works: Look at P38, finish in pairs.2）Look at the picture on the screen, the pair may say : Picture A, Is he running slowly or fast He is running fast.3） Discuss in groups and decide what clubs they like to go. 4） After discussing, the Ss will leave their seats and stick their stars in the clubs which they like. 5） Tell the result what club they are in. The Ss can ask someone in this way: P1: Hi, what club are you in P2: My favorite sport is running. I’m good at running. So I am in running club. 在小组中合作学习，增加交际的氛围，巩固课堂学习的语言知识。通过检查，发现问题，并及时解决问题。提高课堂学习的效果。小组讨论自己喜好的运动，用选择自己喜爱的俱乐部并报名参加的形式，使课堂学习达到高潮。创设这个真实的生活情景，使学生从学到用，强调了语言运用的真实性。讨论报名的结果，继续这个真实活动的延续，使这个环节的设计更具真实性。
