一、教学目标:
认知目标: 学会认读字母Mm, Nn,掌握字母在例词中的发音。
理解Fold the paper. / Tear the paper.两句话的意思。
技能目标: 用M for…. / N for….积累词汇,巩固认识字母。
学会运用句子Fold the paper. / Tear the paper.
情感目标: 严格按要求做事。
二、教学过程:
Step 1. Pre-task preparation
1. Sing together. 《Days of the Week》.
2. Review the words: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday.
3. A game.
T: Now let’s play a guessing game. Look at my mouth. I will read the words mutely. OK
T: Let’s try to say the words mutely one by one. The others look at his/ her mouth and go on guessing.
Step 2. While-task procedure
1. Show a piece of paper.
T: What’s this It’s a piece of paper. Follow me: paper↑, paper↓.
T: I’ve got a piece of paper. But I want to draw two pictures. I need two pieces of paper.
Oh, I’ve got a good idea. Look at me.
Lead in: Fold the paper./ Tear the paper.
2. Learn the letters: Mm, Nn
Teacher draws a mouth on one of the paper.
T: Look at my picture. What’s this
Ss: It’s a mouth.
T: Right. Look at the word. The first letter is ‘m’. Look at my mouth. Follow me: m↑, m↓. m-- / m /. M for mouth.
How to write Look carefully. (Write the capital letter and the small letter on the board.)
Students read the letters.
T: M for mouth. Is this a mouth (Show a picture: mouse.)
It’s a mouse. Pay attention: mouth, th-- / O /, mouse, s-- / s /.
Now, can you make a sentence with ‘M for ……’
② Teacher draws a nose on the other paper.
T: Look, is this a mouth
T: (Write down the word: nose.) Is the first letter ‘m’
Right. Here the first letter is ‘n’. Look at my mouth. Read after me: n↑, n↓. N for nurse.
How to write Look carefully. (Write the capital letter and the small letter on the board.)
Students read the letters.
T: N for nose. Look, a nose (Show a picture: nurse.) She’s a nurse.
Now, can you make a sentence with 'N for ……’
Step 3. Post-task activities
1. Practice.
T: Now I will give a piece of paper for each pair. Let’s divide it. Follow me.
Fold the paper. Tear the paper.
T: Good. Now everyone has got one. But I think it’s too big. Please divide it again.
Students say the sentences and divide the paper.
2. Copy the letters.
T: Please write down the letters on one of your paper.
3. Alphabet Rhyme.
T: Let’s recite the Alphabet Rhyme together.
