教学内容
本课教学内容为Unit 12的Grand Theatre部分。
教学目标
一、知识目标
1）基础性目标：1) 理解hold的含义，正确朗读单词。
2) 理解Is/Are there… 句型。
3）理解Hold___ in your hand. 和Let me give___.的含义。
4) 能听懂和正确理解故事内容。
2）发展目标：1)能灵活运用Is/Are there… 句型提问并回答。
2)听懂两句祈使句，并应答、做出相应动作。

3）能力目标：1）能初步掌握并运用句型。
2）能表演这个故事。
二、情感目标：培养学生爱护动物、保护动物的意识。

1.认读新单词。
2.操练本课句型。

教学分析
学生现在应该能用现在进行时表达正在做什么事了，能用We can… We can’t… 正确表达会做什么不会做什么，there be的一般疑问句句型在Questions and answers中出现过多次，但有的学生仍存在困难。同时学生在综合运用语言、连贯表达和表演的能力较弱。
课前准备 Warming-upSongTalk about the song Rain, rain, go away. 营造宽松的学习氛围，使学生迅速进入角色，主动参与课堂学习。
