Lesson D What time is it
教学内容:
学习询问时间的英语表达法What time is it 和答语It’ s…。
教学目标:
1. 学习What time is it 及答语It’ s…要求学生能听懂、理解、会说并能在实际情景中简单运用。
2. 感知对话，复习can 的否定和疑问形式。
3. 培养学生的思维能力及学习英语的兴趣，帮助学生树立学习英语的自信心。
教学重点：
学习询问时间的表达法What time is it 及答语It’ s…。
教学难点：
1. 学生能熟练掌握What time is it 及答语It’ s…并能简单运用。
2. 培养学生学习英语的兴趣，帮助学生树立学习英语的自信心。
教学准备:
录音机、磁带、卡片、时钟
教学过程：
Ⅰ. Warm up and review
1. 师生齐唱歌曲Glad to Meet You.
2. 师生自由对话，复习旧知识
1）T: Hello, everyone! My name is Lily. What’s your name /What’s her name /What’s his name /How do you do /Glad to meet you!
以出题的形式引导学生快速作出相应回答,由此复习can 的否定和疑问形式.
Can you swim/sing/fly/count/ play Ping Pang…
Then try swimming/singing/flying/counting…
2）由对话引入数词1-20的复习。
把全班分成男女生两组，开火车比赛数数。（卡片出示27,30,38,40,49,50,56）
3）由对话引入词汇的复习。
T: Yes, this boy/girl is very good. By the way, can you read Then try reading.
出示卡片，学生齐读单词,当看见sleep一词时静息。（sleep, go to school, go to bed, do my homework, get up, play ping pang, sing, count,）
Ⅱ. Presentation and practice
1. 创设情景，导入新课。
由阵阵闹钟声引入情景，教师看一小手表
T: What time is it Oh! It’s 10:40.
师示意学生看表，但手表太小，教师出示大时钟，（把学生分成几个钟组）并问：What time is it
引导学生回答：It’ s 10:40.
T: It’s 10:40.We must begin our class. Time is past so fast! Today let’ s talk about “time”.
2. 出示课题，教学What time is it It’ s….
运用时钟及卡片，边教边练：
1）请学生当小老师教读并组织小组问，教师答，让学生充分感知答语It’ s…（10:00,4:32,9:14教师及时给每组评价）
2）教师教读答语，让学生学会对整点及不是整点的时间进行正确回答。
3）学生分组开火车问答——学生个别问答，操练重点句子。（教师抽卡片让学生问答）
4）听写时间
教师出示时间卡片,请学生上台问,其他生根据卡片答,台上学生写下时间,又对又快者可为本组加分。在最后一组玩此游戏后,教师适时补充，让学生感知It’s ….I want to get up/play Ping Pang/ sing/ sleep/go to school/go to bed/do my homework….（6：40，7：45， 9：20，10：00）
5）游戏：猜时间
出示卡片,让学生认读时间,然后打乱顺序,请学生猜时间,当猜者猜出正确时间后,出卡者根据时间说一件自己要做的事。
6）欣赏歌曲What time is it now 鼓励会唱的学生跟唱。
3. 听录音，学对话。
1）学生带着问题自读课文，圈出认识的句子。
T: After relaxing, let’s try reading, OK Your book, turn to page…Look, a boy and his mom, they are talking about time. Can you read Try reading, circle the sentences that you can read.
2）学生听录音，边听边读并思考：
Questions: What time is it Who can’t sleep What does A want to do
3）学生再听音，跟读，正音，教师重点教读普遍困难的句子。
4）练读课文：男、女生分角色读——同桌分角色读——背诵——个别表演对话
Ⅲ. Consolidation
1. 引导学生小结本节课学习的知识。
T: Today we learned how to ask time “what time is it It’s…”But I have a question:
我们的钟只有十二个小时，如果我们说十点，是指的上午十点还是晚上十点呢，在英语中我们该怎么样来区分“上午，下午和晚上”呢？（可请知道的学生解答）
教师出示A.M P.M At night 简单介绍用法并教读。
2. T：As we know time is important. There are some famous sayings: Time is money. Time is the great teacher. So we must hold on the time.
3. 小结比赛情况，及时评价。
Ⅳ. Homework
学生完成书中练习；
1. A is your clock. Draw your time.
2. B is your partner’s clock. Ask your partner questions. Draw his time.
