前面我们学习了一般过去时的肯定、否定与一般疑问句的表达方式，但如果要问别人以前做了什么、到过哪里、事情发生的时间等时，又该如何表达呢？此时，我们就要用一般过去时的特殊疑问句形式。先看下列例句：
—When was the meeting yesterday?
昨天什么时候开的会？
—It was at 4:00 pm.下午4点。
—Where did you go last night?你昨晚去了哪里？
—I went to Tom’s home.我去汤姆家了。 由例句可见，一般过去时的特殊疑问句形式与一般现在时的特殊疑问句形式很相似，只是助动词或be动词改变而已。因此，一般过去时的特殊疑问句结构为：特殊疑问词+ did/was/were +主语+动词原形+其他?即：特殊疑问句的句式=特殊疑问词+一般疑问句句式。
注意：必须关注助动词或be动词的时态和动词的还原。【语法专练】
