by Raphael（拉斐尔） 罗丹其人(Rodin August)--法国雕塑艺术家，他在很大程度上以纹理和造型表现他的作品，倾注以巨大的心理影响力，被认为是19世纪和20世纪初最伟大的现实主义雕塑艺术家。对罗丹来说，艺术的美存在于内在的真实表达，为此，他常常巧妙地背离人体解剖学。它的雕刻作品，无论是青铜雕还是大理石雕，一般采用两种风格：一种是刻意造就粗糙表面和粗旷表面造型的颇有个性的风格；另一种，其特征是抛光的表面和精细的外型。罗丹的思想与作品是极其一致的，充满了忧郁、苦闷、伤感，及对命运的挣扎。他所塑造的人物都是忍辱负重、现实生活的内涵写照，他的艺术力量不是外在的呼喊，而是理性意义的表露，是内心情感与思想的自然爆发。这正是能够启发观众、打动人心的魅力所在。The Thinker-- “思想者” 是罗丹最著名的代表作。罗丹用这一形象来象征伟大诗人——但丁，也象征他自己，象征全人类。
