Lesson49
教学内容: Lesson49 A , B and C。
教学目标与要求:
1.能够基本听懂,会说,认读本课的九个场所名称及表示位置的三个介词(词组)。
2.能够用所学的三个介词(词组)初步表达A项图中场所的相对位置。
3.能够仿照范例写几句话,做到标点符号使用正确,书写格式规范。
教学重点与难点:
1.本课的教学重点是:表示方位的介词(词组)和社区场所的英文名称。
2.本课的教学难点是:
(1)社区场所名称词形和词义的辨别。
(2)运用所学介词(词组),正确表达场所的相对位置。
课前准备:
教学录音磁带。
教学挂图。
单词卡片。
教师自制的教具(如:自治课件,小奖品等)。
教学过程:
Step1:Greetings: Good morning,boys and girls。
Good morning ,Miss……
Step2: Revision:
1.Oral Practice: (1).Where is my ruler It’s in front of the book.
(2) Where is my chair It’s next to the desk.
2.Play a guessing game to review some words in book7: library/bookstore/post office/shop/coffee/subway station ,etc.
Step3: Presentation:
1. Draw a map about my community on the Bb to teach the following words like this( bank/bookstore/police station/drugstore/coffee shop/grocery store/gas station/across from/between/next to): This is my community. There are many buildings in my community. This is a bookstore. It’s next to the library…….
2. Stick and read: stick the pictures of the new words on the Bb. Read the words after teacher.
3. Ask and Answer: A: Where is the library B: It’s across from/next to/between……
4. Listen and number: Play the tape for the pupils three times. Let them listen and number, then check the answers like this: The post office is No.1 . The grocery store is No.2…..
5. Play the tape again for them and repeat.
6. Learn the words and phrases again. Pay attention to the three words: across from/next to/between.
Step4: Practice:
1. Listen to the tape and answer the questions about PartB.
2. Task some questions, let them look at the map above and answer in pairs.
3. Play a guessing game in groups:
Such as: This building is between the drugstore and the bank. You can buy books in it. What building is it (bookstore)
4. Let’s write:
Ask them to exchange books in pairs, then write two questions on their partners’ books. After finishing, exchange again. Look at the map in Part A and answer the questions . At last, check in pairs.
Step5: Summary:
Sum up the main points of this class.
1. Words and Phrases.
2. Sentence pattern about asking the way: Where is …… It’s next to/between/across from……
Step6: Homework:
1. Listen to Lesson49 five times.
2. Recite Part B.
3. Copy the words and phrases.
4. Prepare for Lesson50.
Step7: The design of the writing:

教学目标与要求:
1. 能够基本听懂,说出,认读有关地点场所的七个词汇及表示行进方向的三个短语.
2. 能够在所创设的情景下,初步用英文指路问路.
3. 能够看懂平面图并运用所学语言正确指路..
4. 能够仿照范例写几句话,做到标点符号使用正确.
教学重点与难点:
本课的教学重点是:
(1) 社区场所的英文表达.
(2) “问路指路”的交际用语.
本课教学难点是:
(1) 社区场所名称词形和词义的辨别.
(2) 方向方类单词音,义的辨别.
(3) 看懂平面图并运用所学语言正确指路.
课前准备:
1. 教学录音磁带.
2. 单词卡片.
3. 教师自制的相关教具(如:自制课件,小奖品等).
4. 代表各个场所的标志牌.
5. 根据本课的教学内容,把教室模拟成一个”社区”将学生的桌椅摆放成街道的形状,把代表各个场所的标志牌坊在桌上的相应位置.
教学过程:
Step1: Greetings: Hello, boys and girls. Hello, Miss …
Step2: Revision:
1. Do an oral practice.
Show a map of YaoYao’s community to practise:
T: This is Yaoyao’s community. Look, there are many buildings in her community. What do you see
S: I see a bookstore/bank/hospital/coffee shop….
T: Where is the bookstore/bank/hospital/coffee shop..
S: It’s next to /between / across from……
2. Play a Bingo Game to review the words we’ve learned.
Step3: Presentation:
1. Deal with the new words with the pictures.
2. Introduce the background: Look! Here is a lady. Where is she going How can she get there
Please listen to the tape. After listening, answer the questions above.
3. Listen and trace.
4. Listen again and repeat.
Step4: Practise:
1. Do what I say to review the following phrases: go straight/ turn left/ turn right.
2. Choose some pupils as my partner to practice;
A: How can I get to the bank
B: Go straight and turn left at the second crossing. It’s on your right. It’s next to the bookstore.
3. Pair work
4. Show their activities in public. At the same time ,teacher write the sentence pattern on the Bb.
5. Listen to the tape and repeat.
6. Let’s write:
First ,ask some pupils to read the dialogue . Then, copy them on their books.
Step5: Summary:
Sum up the main points of this class.
1. Words and phrases.
2. Sentence pattern: How can I get to…… Go straight,…….
Step6: Homework:
1. Listen to Lesson 50 five times.
2. Copy the words we’ve learned.
3. Make some dialogues and write.
4. Prepare for Lesson 51.
