Lesson 50
一、教学设计说明：
在新课程理念下的英语课堂教学应是“以学生发展为中心，师生共同参与教学活动，全面构建以交流为主的新型师生关系，重视学生学习方式的转变，着重培养学生创新精神和实践能力，实现个性化、多元化的课堂教学”。根据这一理念，我在设计本课活动时充分体现了“学生互动，师生互动”的原则。使学生能参与教学中去。
二、教学分析
1．本课继续学习社区中常见场所的英文名称：restaurant, newspaper stand, hairdresser’s, cinema, bakery ,zoo和表示行进方向的词汇：go straight, turn left, turn right, crossing,.
2．本课学习“指路问路”用语：“How can I get to… Go straight and turn left at the second crossing. It’s on your right.
三、教学目标
知识目标：
1．能够听、说、认读以下短语：across from , coffee shop, next to .能够听、说、读、写单词和短语：turn left, turn right, go straight, gas station, bookstore at the first /second/ third crossing.
2．能够听、说、认、读句型：“How can I get to the museum Go straight. Turn right at the first crossing”并能进行关键词的替换操练。
3．能够听、说、读、写短语：turn right, turn left, go straight
能力目标：
能够询问路线并简单回答，如：“How can I get to the museum Go straight
情感目标：
1．培养学生团结友爱，乐于助人的良好品质。
2．使学生愿意在小组中积极与他人合作，互相帮助，共同完成学习任务。
四、教学重点和难点：
重点: 掌握四会单词和短语：turn left, turn right, go straight bakery ,hairdresser’s, restaurant, crossing.
难点：词汇的应用，句子How can I get to the ……. .
五、教法：
（1）在教学过程中采用视听法、表演法、讲授法、对话法等，以“听、读”为基础，“交际”为主的教学手段，引导学生能够自主应用本课新单词及句型，运用对话中的信息进行实际交流。
（2）运用直观的现代教学手段，形象生动的教学语言，多样化的教学形式，创造轻松愉快的教学氛围，调动学生主动参加课堂的积极性。
教具
课前教师准备多媒体课件、录音机图片等教具。
六、教学过程
1. Warm –up
Show the pictures of the words we learned last class,
Eg: bank, police station, coffee shop
设计情景让学生练习 across from; next to, between….and…..短语
A: Where is the bookstore
B: It’s next to the bank.
2．学习新单词及其短语
Newspaper stand ; bakery; restaurant; cinema; crossing ; go straight, turn right/left
在学习新单词的过程中运用上节课的句式Where is ….. 练习。
（在学习turn left and turn right 时采用情景教学，在教室中发口令，同学们进行操练。）
3．听力练习 Part A. Listen 3 times.
4．Role- play
提问两名同学读Part B
A: Excuse me. How can I get to the newspaper stand
B: Go straight and turn left at the second crossing.
It’s on your right.
A: Thank you.
B: You’re welcome.
