4400亩），是一座巨大的皇家园林和清朝的行宫。修建于
清朝乾隆年间、重于光绪年间，曾属于清朝北京西郊三山
五园之一。颐和园素以人工建筑与自然山水巧妙结合的造
园手法著称于世，是中国园林艺术顶峰时期的代表。被列
入世界遗产名录。 the Temple of Heaven天坛始建于明永乐十八年（1420年），清乾隆、光绪时
曾重修改建。为明、清两代帝王祭祀皇天、祈五谷丰登
之场所。是现存中国古代规模最大、伦理等级最高的祭
祀建筑群。 the Forbidden City故宫始建于公元1406年，1420年基本竣工，是明朝皇帝
朱棣始建。故宫有大小院落90多座，房屋有980座，共计
8707间.宫城周围环绕着高12米，长3400米的宫墙，形式
为一长方形城池，墙外有52米宽的护城河环绕，形成一个
森严壁垒的城堡。故宫有4个门，正门名午门，东门名东
华门，西门名西华门，北门名神武门。面对北门神武门，
有用土、石筑成的景山，满山松柏成林。在整体布局上，
景山可说是故宫建筑群的屏障。在这前后五百余年中，共
有24位皇帝曾在这里生活居住和对全国实行统治。 Beihai Park北海公园(Beihai Park)，位于北京市，在故宫的西北面，
与中海、南海合称三海。属于中国古代皇家园林。全园以
北海为中心，水面占583市亩，面积约71公顷，陆地占
480市亩。这里原是辽、金、元建离宫，明、清辟为帝
王御苑，是中国现存最完整、最古老、最具综合性和代表
性的皇家园林之一，1925年开放为公园。是中国保留下来
