Present the flashcards for this Unit. Play the courseware for Monday. Model the word and have the children repeat it 2. Now say, “Today is Monday.” Have the children repeat the sentence after you. Repeat the procedure for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.3. Now ask the children :What day is it today The children answer : Today is …. Point to the words as you do so. Have the children repeat the words after you.4.Now review the two answer forms, Today is Monday.. And It’s Monday. Play the courseware for Tuesday. Have a child come to the front of the class. Ask the child, “What day is it today ” The other children should answer, “ Today is Tuesday.” or “It’s Tuesday.”5. Learn the other structures like this. And then have the children open their books at page 4. Direct their attention to the pictures at the top of the page. As you play the tape, have the children touch the matching picture or word.4. Replay the tape while showing your copy of the page. Stop the tape after each word and have the children repeat the words.5. Play the tape again without stopping. Have the children say the word along with the tape. Then without the tape, point to one of the pictures or sentences and elicit the sentences from the children.repeat for all the other pictures.Step 4. Uncle Booky’s Blackboard1. Have the children open their books at page 9. Model the structures on Uncle Booky’s Blackboard by reading them aloud to the class.Have the children repeat the structures in a class drill.Step 5. Pair work:Ask the students to talk about their work with their partners. And then make a new dialogue and act it out.Step 6. Fight game:The students have five minutes to prepare the competition. Game 1: Please say out the new words in Chinese. Game 2: Please say out the new words in English. Game 3: Please spell out the new words. Game 4: Please answer my some questions.
