Lesson 58
一、教学内容：
1. 介绍中国几个城市及其著名的短文。
2. 本课涉及到的新词汇：Gentleman, land, Beijing international airport, capital, famous, Dayan tower, province, west lake, ice lantern show, hope, flight, trip.
3. 用英文说一说自己知道的城市及其所在省份。
二、教学目标与要求：
1. 能够在教师的帮助下借助词典等公具书阅读短文，做到认读、理解，并能根据短文内容将图片和相应的城市连线。
2. 能够说出短文中涉及到的城市和相关景物的英文名称。
3. 能够听懂录音，基本正确朗读短文。
4. 能够通过搜集资料，说出自己了解的我国的城市及其所在省份，激发热爱祖国的美好情感。
5. 能够了解字母组合/all/, /or/在单词中的发音，并能根据发音规律正确读出单词和相关语句，同时辅导记忆单词。
三、教学重点和难点：
1. 重点
1） 介绍中国城市及其著名景观的短文。
2） 介绍自己知道的中国城市及其所在省份。
2. 难点：短文中生词的理解、认读。
四、教学过程：
一、Review
1. Review many famous places in Beijing.
2. Show the map of china and introduce the city and province of beijing.
二、New lesson
1. Read the part A and find which city and province in this part.
2. Listen the tape and read after the tape.
3. 学生试着复述课文 。
三、Practice
1. practice part B in their groups.
2. 学生表演。
3. Try to read pronunciation /all/, /or/.
4. 学生总结发音规则。
5、跟读Part C 和D。
